Golden Drops
She sheds golden tears
fragmented rays of the sun,
streaming down her unbreakable frontand as the tears fall
to the sinful ground
of the world she once believed
would never let her downbetrayal comes easy
to those who trust
and tor a Goddess
who owns a pure heartshe chose to believe
in the good side of Man
only to be cast aside
when the time came to standup for all the good
up against all the badthey desert her
as she makes the fall
her first and lastas she lay
broken and weak
the innocent crowd her
too young to seethe perishing of such beauty
of such strength
and she smiles, her golden smile
to mesmerize a coming generationof hopeful children
'maybe it's not all a waste
to live for the world
and give up one's place'for that one shred of hope
one act of braverycan change lives
though it brought the huntress
to her ultimate demise.
