Black or White
I can't see them anymore - colours. The rainbow palette the rest of the world can make out with their open, flashing eyes are tuned out to my own. A dull monochrome takes over and where there was hope, lies death. Where there was light, lies deception.
I don't want to see it - the demons that lurk in the corners of my mind all too visible in front of my eyes. The shadows are at every turn, follow my every step and nothing I do can shake away their cold grasp on my soul.
I cover my sight - I shut it all out. To try and imagine what it was like before; before the truth came out. To try and touch the blend of beauty
and just for one moment pretend that I am a part of it.
