the bright one
She believes in the good
more than the bad
In the dancing lights of the night sky
than fear the darkness that surrounds her
She is a breath of fresh air
in a world so ugly
and when she reaches out her hand
to catch a falling star
I lift her up into the air with all my strength
for her to taste the heavens
she descended from
and forget all it means
to be
Human.
