I casually walked out of the Arc with my knee brace and a makeshift crutch- both made my yours truly... Wick. I was sure that both would break a quarter of the way through our mission, but that was something to deal with when we came to it.Clarke, Bellamy, Raven, Octavia and I had made a plan to go out and search for Finn and John. Well... I actually wasn't supposed to go, but they decided to argue with me when I had my sword on hand. Let's just say I won. I still had to go and get the extra rifle clips from storage. I had good 'ole Wick cover for me. All he had to do was say something stupid and everyone got distracted.
We couldn't leave the guys out there looking for someone who's already been found. If the Arc won't let us, we'll do it ourselves. We have been for two months.
I saw the large piece of metal near the fence, which is where we were meeting. If you hid behind it, no one in the Arc courtyard could see you. It was the perfect place to sneak out. The only problem- the electricity.
"Zen should be here with the clips in a couple-"
"Speak of me, you receive me," I commented, throwing a clip at Bellamy. Raven smirked at my comment, checking out my lovely attire.
"Wick make those?" she asked, referring to my crutch and brace.
"How'd you know?"
"He made me one, too," she said, sticking out her leg. "Piece of shit. Thankfully my crutches work."
I laughed, repositioning the sword on my belt. The thing was almost as long as my leg.
"Clarke better be here soon or-"
"Hey," she suddenly said, appearing from behind the metal.
"You summoning us or something?" I asked Raven. She gave me a smirk but Clarke didn't seem to enjoy my humour.
"My mom's in surgery and the team going after Kane just left," Clarke informed us. "We should, too."
"Perfect, we should be able to keep track of which way they went so we don't cross paths," I said, picking up a bag that was by Raven's feet. She packed it for me; extra shirt, socks, water, food, a blanket, and a pistol with ammo. My sword might not last in certain situations.
"Did you find Octavia?" Raven asked Clarke.
"No, I found you," Octavia answered, appearing out of nowhere.
"Now I'm officially scared," I murmured.
"I'm not letting you guys leave here without me," Octavia said firmly.
"Octavia-" Bellamy tried to get her to rationalize, as he usually did. It was the first time I'd heard him spoke since I'd met up with him a couple minutes before.
"Finn and Murphy are headed for Lincoln's village. I've been there. Have you? Has she?" Octavia asked, referring to Clarke. "What about Zen? Have you been there?"
"Nope." I was subtly trying to help out Octavia. We did need her, even if I had an idea of where Lincoln's village was. I had a feeling it was where they kept me after I was captured. Sulfur would probably be there.
"You two done?" Bellamy asked, raising his eyebrows. We both nodded, and he handed his sister a backpack.
"What's this?" she asked.
"Your pack. Lead the way." Bellamy gave his sister a small smirk.
Just as Octavia was going to go through the fence, Raven and I both stopped her at the same time.
"Whoa."
"Not so fast, Pocahontas," Raven commented. She nodded to me, and as if we were psychic, I did exactly what she wanted me to do. I stuck my pathetic stick called a crutch and tapped the fence ever so slightly. Electricity sprung to life and Octavia stood back a bit.
