<3 Happy Valentine's Day/Happy Let's Make Single People Feel Bad Day :)

I recommend reading this while listening to the song. :) It has such a passionate, love-filled vibe and it will add depth to all the Zellamy action. ;) :D <3 (and though all the words don't completely match up with Zellamy and their story, the majority of them do, and so I'm still using it. :D)

Bellamy opened the door to Zen's room, trying his best not to drop both cups of moonshine. Though Abby assigned the room to Zen, Bellamy had been in there with her every single night they were at camp. But, he didn't want to make the mistake of calling it 'their room' if Zen didn't see it that way. She did, though, and she was thinking the same doubt as him.

She'd had a bad day, and he wanted to make sure that she was alright. He knew that the world had changed, and some things you couldn't overcome. But Zen was strong; she could work through it. He just needed to make sure she got past the first couple steps.

When Bellamy popped through the door frame, Zen looked up immediately. A fraction of her sorrow disappeared, especially since she never asked him to come see her before they went to sleep. Let alone bring moonshine; she was quite excited about that.

"Brought you some," he said, shutting the door with his elbow then walking over to where she sat on the lower bunk. Since the rooms on the Arc were so small to fit everyone, they had bunk beds instead of regular beds. They were small, but to Zen and Bellamy, it just gave them a reason to sleep closer together.

"You didn't have to," she said politely, taking one of the metal cups from his hands.

"Alcohol fixes everything," he joked, sitting down beside her. Their knees were touching. Though it was a small thing, it meant a lot to the both of them.

"I'll drink to that," she said, taking the cup to her lips and chugging half of its contents. Bellamy laughed out loud–something he hardly did– and tried his best not to spill his drink as his body jolted with each giggle.

"You're the best," he said without thinking. His cheeks turned bright red the moment he said it. Zen knew that he was slightly embarrassed, so instead of making a big deal out of it like most would, she gave him a small smile then moved on. Though, the thought stuck at the back of her head.

"You didn't need to come and check up on me, Bell," she said, standing up to put her cup on the small table in the middle of the room. "I'll just sleep it off."

"I wasn't going to let you go to sleep without seeing me first," he said, following her actions with the moonshine. "I wouldn't do that with you."

"I wouldn't take offence," she replied, picking up a hair elastic on the metal table and starting to tie her long hair back.

"Zen, for once, can you please just let me take care of you and make you feel better?" Bellamy asked, a bit aggravated. His sister would do this, too; hide away all her emotions and not let anyone take them out. It drove him nuts, but then reminds himself that he, too, does it.

"You can't make me feel better, Bellamy," she said, running her hands through her long, blonde hair, overly frustrated and upset. "Those innocent people died today because I wasn't on full alert at my post."

"You can't be expected to see everything, at every time," Bellamy reasoned with her. "I've missed things, too."

"There were parents in that line of fire," Zen told him. "Some kids lost their parents because of me. Down here, we don't get floated anymore. Those kids shouldn't have to worry about losing their parents. Not like we did."
