"Okay, where do we go now, Murphy?"

Bellamy and I had just caught up with the group, and to be honest, no one really knew where they were going. I hoped that John did, and I think Bellamy did, as well.

"How about we lose these first, huh?" John asked, holding up his hands to show the wires cuffed to them.

"How about we don't," Bellamy answered sternly.

Everyone had came to a stop again, all eyes on John. I looked to Finn, to see if he was going to freak out for us all stopping again so soon. He seemed fine; probably contemplating what to do about John.

"If we get attacked out here, I have nothing to defend myself with," John stated. He was telling the truth, but I didn't think Bellamy gave a damn.

"I don't care," Bellamy snapped.

I knew this guy too well. I tried my best to hide a smirk.

Finn walked towards John, and I thought he was going to do something bad. This was just another distraction from him finding Clarke. I guess he decided what to do with the boy.

To say the least, I was surprised when he pulled out the wire cutters, snapping the cuffs off of John's wrists. He stuck the strong scissors back into his pack along with the wire. If we left the wire out in the open, who knew what would happen if someone got a hold of it. As small and frail as it was; it could very well be a weapon.

"Finn, what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy asked, taking a step forward towards the other two boys, gripping his gun.

"Zen wanted to bring him," Finn answered.

"Yeah, because he knows where the grounders keep their prisoners."

"Then we shouldn't let him be defenceless out here in the open. We need him. We can't just leave him to be killed off."

"We've done it before."

"John's fine, we can handle him," I said, stepping in-between Finn and Bellamy, trying to break apart their bickering. "If anything happens we'll tie him up again. It's as simple as that. It'll be fine."

"Better hope so," Bellamy said sarcastically. He looked to me as he said it, but the rudeness in his voice wasn't matching the apologetic look on his face. He put his hand on my shoulder, and leaned in to kiss the top of my head as a subtle way of saying sorry. "Let's get going. Murphy, lead the way."

"Don't go shooting me in the back, now," John said with a smirk on his face.

"Don't push it." Bellamy shot daggers from his eyes into the back of John's skull.

"You gonna give me a gun now?"

"You're pushing it."

It had been at least three hours. Since the freedom of John, we hadn't stopped walking since. The sun was hotter than usual, and I cursed myself for not having brought an elastic for my hair.

Maybe I could take the wire cutters from Finn and snip it all off.No... I'd miss it too much; as weak as that sounds.

"Everybody down. Down."

Murphy whispered harshly to the rest of us, getting down behind a small hill. Bellamy wrapped his arm around my waist, pushing me gently onto my knees. He kept his arm there, and I smiled from the small action.

"This is it. Told you I'd find it," John said, smirking over to where Bellamy was.

I took in what was in front of me. There were tree sculptures everywhere; it looked like a gigantic treehouse. There was no fence. The grounders were out in the open, not afraid to be attacked. They walked around with large weapons, conversing with each other in a language that I didn't understand. They were mostly all men; the occasional strong, muscular girl here and there. I was a bit terrified; how were we going to get through these people and to our friends?
