Chapter 23
Rachels pov :
I sat in the drive way I of the place I used to call home. I took a deep breath and nervously fiddled with my fingers.

"You okay? " Quinn asked me.

"Yeah just nervous. " I said.

"You'll be okay." Finn said putting his hand on my shoulder.

I smiled and said, "Thanks, Quinn come on." I said and we went to the house . I opened the door to see Shelby standing there waiting for me .

"Hi. " She said with her arms folded.

"Hi." I said mimicking her arm fold.

"Are you coming home?" She asked me.

"Depends can Quinn stay here?" I asked her.

"For how long?" She asked me.

"As long as she needs too." I told her.

"Fine." She told me, "But you have to come home too." She told me.

"Fine but I'll sleep here but I won't be here during the day." I said.

"Fine." She said.

"Fine." I said.

"Good." She said.

"Good," I said and turned to Quinn, "Come Quinn I'll show you your room." I told her and we went up stair.

Later I helped Quinn finish unpacking . "Okay I'm heading out." I told her.

"Oh come on Rach don't leave me here." She begged me.

" I can't be here Quinn or else I might slap Shelby. " I said.

"Please just stay for me I don't want to be alone." She told me.

"Fine." I said giving in.

"Rachel can I talk to you?" Shelby said from outside the room.

I looked at Quinn and she said , "I have too pee." And left the room.

The door was opened and Shelby came in with a glass of water like my dads used too. "I brought you some water your dads told me they did it when you were sad." She told me.

"You can't replace them ya know, you'll never be my mom just someone who gave birth to me." I said coldly.

"I know you're right. I should've told you after they died . I should've been there for you. " She told me.

"It doesn't matter now. They're dead and here I am here with you. " I told her.

"Here ." She said handing me a letter. "I hope one day you can forgive me. " She told me and left. I looked at the letter and put it down .
