------BRUCE AS I PICTURED HIM. THANKS katchat45 FOR THE IDEAS!!!------

Four people come walk to the door. They all wear black. I inch closer to Katie and look up at her. She watches them with unsure eyes.  Knowledge goes to the door and opens it, silently ushering them in. We stand off by the window in complete silence. Awkward silence.

"Sit down," Knowledge commands, they nod and pull out a chair. "Kate and Scarlet, sit down as well." Katie nods and pulls out a chair next to me. A girl is to my right and besides Katie is a boy with glasses.

"Come on!" Knowledge says. I look up to who she's talking to. One of the boys isn't sitting down, he leans against the wall with his eyes closed, obviously not interested in what going on. "What are you doing, going on some rebellious teenage phase or something? I said sit down!" I try not to burst out laughing. But when I see Katie on the verge of laughter that just makes it harder. We smile so much its sad. The girl to my left taps my arm.

"What if I told you thats how he was the whole way here. He sure is wonderful company, don't you think?" I smile at her trying to block out Knowledge and her pointless yelling. "My name is Abigail. Abbey, if you feel like shortening it."

"Nice name," I smile and shake her hand. "I'm Scarlet and this is Kate if you didn't hear."

"Katie," Katie corrects. "Call me Katie. SO what its childish! I like it!"

"Scarlet and Katie it is!"

"If we are all making friends now allow me to introduce myself," A voice says to my left. The boy with glasses extends his hand to us. "My name is Ben." He shakes both our hands and runs his fingers through his red hair.

"And I'm Bruce," The tan boy, opposite of us says.

"Ben, bruce, abigail," I smile. "Its a pleasure."

"If you are done making friends, then lets get down to business," Knowledge says. She pulls out her own chair, next to the empty one. I dare to glance at the boy who didn't sit. He has black hair and high cheekbones. He wears a black shirt and black pants and seems to have a weapon attached to his belt. How casual. I then remember, with heat in my face, that I have a weapon strapped in as well. Its still much smaller but hey, a weapon is a weapon.

"You are here to train," Knowledge says,  "I will teach to you how to handle a sword, how to defend yourselves, how to be, all in all, stronger. You will need these things for the mission."

"What?" I hear Katie say. "Isn't there like, a trained pro or something?"

"Do you doubt my skills?" Knowledge asks.  Katie swallows and clears her throat. I feel like shaking my head but I don't.

"When do we start training?" Ben asks. He seems a little nervous, as if he believes training might kill him. I don't blame him. My heart beat is already doubling up. But is that because of the training?

"Now," Knowledge says. "questions?"

I cant believe myself, I start asking a question. "What about him?" I point to the mysterious boy, who most likely knows I'm talking about him but doesn't even move. "Who is he and will he train?"

"Oh, you mean Grey?"

"So thats his name," Abbey whispers.

"Grey wouldn't take part in anything I do as you can see. His job is to escort you to places. He would most likely surpass my training easily, anyway."

"Oh," I say in a small voice.

"I still want you to come with us, Grey," Knowledge says. The boy still has his eyes closed. "Its a dangerous job you have. Refreshing yourself in combat wouldn't hurt."
