TO START THINGS OFF, THE SONG I LISTEN TO WHEN WRITING IS ABOVE! LISTEN TO IT IF  YOU WANT TO BECOME ADDICTED TO IT!!!

I wake up to heat. Or at least something that feels somewhat like it. I rub my eyes and slowly sit up. The first thing I notice is its early in the morning. The bonfire still has some smoke, I still have my cloak, but I'm all alone. I slowly stand up.

"Jerks. Leaving me behind like th-" I turn around when I hear a branch crack and shriek when I walk into him.

Now, my head is somehow going to hit a tree or something, right?

Luckily for me, it doesn't. I fall on the soft mossy grass, scared to death.

"Can you please stop doing that to me?" I ask. He has the smallest trace of a smile on. "Of course you won't. Why do I even ask?" I stand up and face him.

"You said you wanted to learn wind magic? Im going to teach you it. Today, Knowledge will cover the magic basics with the others. Ive arranged it so that you and I will be out for the day. Nobody can know what I am about to teach you. If anyone asks what you did today, you were training with the horses.  I want to teach you at least once a week. Did you get that?" I rub my eyes and yawn.

"Yes, I did. How will I know when you want to train with me?"

"You'll know." He says.  I shrug

"Okay, then, teach me." I say. I gesture my arms around.

He sighs and walks ahead of me. I follow him out of curiosity.

"Where are we going?" I ask. He keeps walking. We soon walk far away from any house or street for that matter. We are deep in some woods. The woods are beautiful in the morning, peaceful and quiet. A deer runs past me and I hold my breath. Ive never really seen one so close before. We reach two large rocks eventually. He sits on one and I sit on the other.

Okay . . . this is weird.

"Um . . . so what are we doing?" I ask. This really is not what I expected. In fact, this is the complete opposite.

He closes his eyes and sits cross legged on the rock. A dragonfly lands on his nose and he doesn't flinch.

"Old warriors used to sit down for hours before a battle and do variations of things to prepare them for the mental part of the fight."

"You mean like meditating?" I ask. I watch his fingers. His hands constantly move, clasping together in different forms.

"Maybe," He mouths. The dragonfly flies across the sky and through some grass.

"But we aren't battling, right?"

"Before training, always have that mindset." He says it in a way that says this conversation is over.

I sigh. Not wanting to disrupt him, I watch him. His eyes are closed and his facial features are relaxed. He does hand motions which must mean something to him, only I don't know what the mean. They way he breathes, focuses on things, it makes me want to lean in and kiss him-

Oh my gosh! Im in love! Oh, no, this is bad. Im way too creepy to be in love with such a cute guy. Okay, there I go, admitting it again. You know what, I can't think this around him. Uh, think of something else . . . My birthday was a few days ago. Abbey was so nice to give me that gift and . . . one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!! Don't think of that again!

After a final sigh, he opens his eyes and looks at me.

"lets begin," He says. I nod.

"First thing to do, Scarlet, is close your eyes."
