"Her name is Hannah," Grey reminds me, for what must be the millionth time. I smile softly.
"I believe that is the millionth time someone has told me that." I say gently. He rolls his eyes while walking forwards. And so, after a few minutes of quiet hellos, I get a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see a woman of about sixty years of age, give or take. She has beautiful and long gray hair.
Grreey...
And crinkly brown eyes.
"nice to meet you," she smiles deeply. "You'll be pleased to know my name is Hannah."
Though it is the most immature thing to think of in this situation, I find myself grinning ear to ear.
I smirk proudly at Grey, who is awkwardly standing off to the side.
"hey, you!' I yell out. "Come and meet our new friend, HANNAH!"
And then I smirk in a way saying, 'I found her first.' Her immediately begins walking over.
"Hannah," he bows his head, "its a pleasure to meet you."
"Oh, please, you man hunk. Marry my daughter and all will be repayed." Grey smirks at that but my once bright features soften. She had to be joking, right?
She better be because this cocky little devil is mine!!
Of course, I would never say that.
"Daughter?" I smile softly.
"Yes." Hannah beams. "Oh, Mia, come here?" And within a second, a tall and. . . Beautiful girl with brown hair and blue eyes walks in. She has the "full package", as they say.
Unlike me.
"Grey!" She wraps him in a tight hug, which Grey awkwardly stands in.
He's rigid.
"It's so good to see you!" She kisses his cheek. My stomach contricts and I gasp slightly. I see the girls eyes fall to mine. After scoping me out, she walks over.
"Hey!" She smiles. "My name is Mia. . . What about you?"
"Uh, Scarlet," I blurt out.
Mia gives me as big a smile she can, though I get an odd feeling it's fake.
"Well hello there. . . What was it? Scar? Well, I'm so glad to meet you. I'm like- Grey's unofficial girlfriend." She twirls a bit of hair over her fingers and I inwardly groan.
Great, a live rival.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mia. Though, I find it odd that Grey never mentioned you. . . Must have forgotten." And then I stretch on a smile like the one she wears.
100% fake.
When my eyes flick to Grey, I see his handsome orbs are already looking at me, a smile playing on his lips. I blush.
I'm such a little girl. . .
"Now!" Hannah claps her hands together, making me flinch. "Let's all go to my house and discuss. . . Matters over some tea, yes? Get all of your friends together, darling," she pats me in the head. "Time stops for no one, I'm afraid."
