When I open my eyes, the world is at a tilt.

Or well technically, I am. I sit up slowly and feel the spot that Grey once occupied cold. Vacant. The birds are chirping outside as if trying to start off my day positively and sending me luck. I need it right now. Badly.

"Looking for me?" A voice startles me. I don't even look back.

"Please. Stop that Grey."

"But its fun."

"It terrifies me every time."

"I could be worse. I could throw snakes at you or put them in y-"

"Stop! Thats fine! NO snakes, okay?" He just chuckles and sits down next to me. A normal person might not notice it but I do. He has small rings under his eyes. His eyes look worn out too. He would never say that to me, though.

"Are you tired?"I ask him. After a minute of snapping out of the daze he was in he just shrugs.

"Go to your room and get some rest. Ill be here." I promise him. I reach out and stoke his hair. It always surprises me at how soft it is.

"I can't do that," He says, closing his eyes like a cat enjoying the owner petting him.

"Why?" I ask softly, watching those perfect lips carefully.

"Because." He looks into me eyes with a look that is way too sweet and adorable. "Because I can't leave you." He pauses as if realizing something just now and then continues, "I cant be like him." He tells me. I blush softly and scream gently.

"You.are.adorable." I say to him. "Like very adorable. Oh my goodness its adorable!" I pinch his beautiful cheeks and he smiles gently revealing the most adorable dimples ever. I gasp in surprise. "Why don't you smile more?" I half ask, half yell, "Dimples like this. . . you can get every girl in the world like that!"

"Maybe thats why I don't smile then." He leans in slowly. "Because I don't want every girl. I just want you."

I blush furiously realizing he isn't kidding-or looking away, and look away.

"Get some sleep!" I say playfully punching. He blocks carefully and smirks.

"You are terrible with punches." He squeezes my fist playfully.

"I wasn't trying!"

"But you were trying more than you'd like to admit." He smirks.

"Oh. Be quiet."

He shrugs and walks into his hotel room. A small part of me. A small, terrible part of me. . . wants him to stay with me.

A walk. I want to go for a walk.

After trying to do my hair up the way Ive seen Abbey and Katie do countless times, I give up and settle for a high ponytail. I carefully sneak down the stairs so that I don't wake up the people i don't want to see. Hint hint.

"You aren't leaving, are you?" A familiar voice calls out. My Fathers new wife.

"I will be heading out for a while if anyone asks." I say.

"Wait!" She calls off as I begin to speed to the door. What is this? Red light green light one two three?

"Yes?" I ask slightly impatient.

"I'm sorry. I'm sure you are extremely busy." She seems ashamed so I pause for a second.

"What?" I ask a little softer this time. Its my Father that deserves this, not her.
