A week had pasted since I burned my hand, and since I saw Rajveer. I couldn't stop thinking about him, I hated him. Ever since he spilled my coffee, but why couldn't I stop thinking about him?

"So... you like the red once or the baby pink once?" Sanjuu asked and interrupted my thoughts. I was helping her with the wedding decorations, the wedding planer was there to get the last things in place. I took a look at the examples, I didn't even realize that we were discussing flowers.

"hmm... go with red once, uh you can put small stones in the middel?" She looked at me weirdly, then she thought about it, and then smiled. She had this process, mostly she would agree with me.

"What she said" She said and smiled to the wedding planer, he showed her an example. We looked at it and then at each other and nodded in agreement. "Yes, perfect!"She said.

"Well it will cost a little extra" He said and wrote something down. "Don't worry about the price, just give her what she wants! Her wedding has to be perfect!" I voice from behind us said. We both looked back and saw her father standing there with a huge smile on his face. I quickly got up to greet him. He pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head. Sanju got up and hugged him as well.

"Shouldn't you be upstairs getting ready, to the haldhi?" Uncle asked. Actually we should be getting ready, not that Sanju had much to do. As the bride she would have to look her most natural. She would then be rubbed in to a yellow paste - the haldhi. And then clean up, and then we would just "party".
"You're right Uncle we should, I should" I said, I could dress up, I wasn't a bride.
"Are we finished here?" I asked the wedding planner, he looked up and nodded.
"I just have to talk to the one who's paying" he said with a smile.
"Well that would be me!" Uncle said and sat down across him. We smiled, and I dragged her along to my room to get ready.

As the brides best friend, I should look good.
"So what are you wearing?" She asked and threw herself at my bed. I looked there thought of what I had. "The one with the deep back?" I said, and stared looking for the shoes to go with it. She looked at me with a dead face.
" you have 6 suits with a deep back? It's kind of your thing" she said and let out a chuckle.
"I am talking about the beige one, with silver and black on." I said and pulled it out from my closet. She didn't even look at me, or the suit. Just her phone, and she had a huge grin on her face. "You look ridiculous, what are you smiling at?" I asked and snapped the phone from her hands. It was a message from Tushar, of course. I got a glimpse of it, just know enough, I laughed and looked at her. She was blushing!
"It's sweet, with the good morning messages, but to be honest, and you know this, you shouldn't be talking to him before the wedding. It's bad luck!" I said and started stripping, after I pulled my shirt over my head I looked at her. She was pouting.. "Well! I just can't stop thinking about him, he is amazing. And I feel that he cares for me just as much, as I care for him." She said and smiled.
"I am telling your mother" I said and crossed my arms, and smiled teasing her.
"You wouldn't do that, would you? Ugh stop being a bitch!" She said and got up and slapped my boob! "Fuck you, I am texting him now! AND STOP TALKING TO HIM.. .. If you love him" I said.. And pushed her back on the bed.

After we both were ready, we went downstairs, and into the car, and off we drew to the hall where the entire wedding would be. Really elegant and classy, perfect for the kind of wedding Sanju wanted. It was huge, and all the pre functions would be held there.

The guest were already there, but only from Sanju's side of the family, since the pre functions are held separate, just a few from the opposite side goes to the others functions.
Anu, who was Sanju's friend, was already at the hall, and we both walked Sanju to the couch in the middle of the hall. And so it begun, Anu, Sanju's closest cousins, and I started rubbing the paste on her, and so did everyone else by turn. Everyone had to bless the bride with beauty for her wedding day, and that was what we were doing.

After everyone had blessed her, she got up and Anu and I drew her home to shower, she quickly hopped into the shower. And when I glared at her phone I saw a message from Rajveer pop on her screen. I couldn't resist, the urge was way to big. I felt my breath getting heavier, just by reading his name.
" So have you seen that Rajveer guy?" Anu asked. I knew that look, she was into him, and I couldn't help but feel a bit jealous. Anu was pretty and she had a way to get the guy she wanted.
"I don't know, haven't really talked to him!" I said and looked down, knowing that was a lie.
"Well that's a lie" Sanju said, as she stepped out of bathroom! I started getting nervous now,
"I mean, he drew you home, he was at your place the day after, oh and he was with you when your hand was burned." She said smiled teasing me! I didn't know what to do, I started sweating, I could just feel how that jealous vibe started coming from Anu.
"Yeah, well we didn't really talk, we just listened to music in the car, and he was just there to return my headphone and ..."
"He was with you when you burned your hand?" Anu cut me off, I could seriously feel that vibe getting stronger.
I nodded, "He left shortly after I got it under control" I said and was satisfied with the way I tackled it!

"But Tushar said, that Rajveer said the he took you to the doctors." Sanju said sounding suspicious. Damn it Sanju, couldn't you just shut your mouth and take a hint. We all 3 just stared at each other awkwardly, well me and Anu anyway, Sanju was just putting her cloths on and not noticing the awkward tension.

Luckily for me, my phone rang. It was Aunty, Sanju's mother.
"Hello?" I said answering the phone.
"Hello, where are you guys? What is taking you so long hmm? Everyone is waiting for the bride, so that the dance show can start hurry back naah!" Aunty said, I grabbed my head, almost forgot what was going on!
" sorry Aunty, we got delated, we'll be there as fast as we can, in fact we are leaving now" I said moving my hand so that Sanju would hurry up. At least she understood that, and started hurrying. I hung up and we left.

After arriving back at the function, Anu and I followed her to the couch. The evening went on, and I had completely forgotten about the incident back at the house. We all enjoyed, danced, ate. And so arrived the grooms parents, sister... and Rajveer. They greeted us all, I couldn't help but smile a bit, seeing him made my heart beat just a bit faster. Until I realized and mentally slapped myself. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and turned to face Sanju. She just looked at me, I knew what she was thinking. "No Sanju, I don't like him. But Anu do, so go annoy her." I said and stamped away from her, and over to her brother and just stood there with him.

I couldn't admit what he did to me, or else it would become real. He was so damn attractive, and I could stare at him all day long. The way he cared for me when I burned my hand really did something to me. But I hated him, he was annoying. I spottet him again talking to Anu, I saw the way she flirted with him, and that too annoyed me. There were so many other boys that had a good eye to her, couldn't she just go to one of them. But when he spottet me, he smiled and left Anu at the spot, he started walking towards me. to be honest, I liked that.

When he was close, he stopped for a moment, and just stared at me. I saw a smirk apper on his lips, which made move a bit. He was checking me out, I liked that. I stiffened my look and walked past him and towards the exit, hopping he would follow me so that we could talk. Just to tell him how annoying he was. I turned to see if he was following, but I just saw him standing there with a bigger smirk, I could see that he liked what he saw. I couldn't help but feel satisfied and confident. He didn't follow me though.

The evening went on, and I caught him starring me at multipale times. And every time I just couldn't help but smile at him. After all the guest said their goodbyes, and I helped cleaning up, I drew home. I saw a couple of messages from my elder sister asking me how I was, and how the function went. I was just about to answer her, when the door rang. I picked up the door phone, a bit sacred to answer since it was 3 am in the morning.

"Who is this?" I asked cold
