Her eyes slowly opened up to vision a ceiling that wasn't hers, and when she looked at the bed, it wasn't hers either. But what was hers was the boy sleeping soundly beside her. She could tell he was very satisfied from what they had conquered the night before- he had a freaking sleeping grin on his face. She rolled her eyes and smiled as she used the blanket to cover her clothe-less body. Yesterday, was completely legendary.
They've been a relationship for about two years, everyday holding complete and pure innocence-obviously up until last night. That's kind of when it broke.
Wow, wrong words to write at a time like this.
It was one of those nights where Maya and Lucas would share intimate and adorable moments, but it was a full moon; which meant anything could happen. And trust these words, something happened.
Italics aren't even as emphasizing to what it truly meant. Maya sunk deeper into her boyfriend's bed, wrapping her arms around his body, leaning her head against his warmness. She could tell that he was waking up; for her hair was most likely tickling his back and her hands were slightly cold.
" 'Morning." He murmured, turning as she released her grip on him.
"Morning." She murmured back, a tired smile lingering on her lips. Lucas leaned in and kissed her softly, caressing her cheek as he pulled back away, his eyes remaining closed. "Sleep well?" His eyes opened mischievously, and she rolled her eyes again. Dammit, Friar.
"I most definitely slept legendarily." Lucas mumbled, his hand caressing her hair; twirling some pieces as she stared and admired the features on his face.
"That good, huh?" She smiled. He chuckled, and his other hand caressed her waist with his thumb.
"And how did you sleep?" Lucas asked, his small smile seemingly never leaving his face.
"Like a new woman, Friar." She teased.
"Well, we're in a new stage in our relationship." Lucas said, informing this now. They were 19; it was definitely worth the wait.
"Don't always expect it, my love." Maya's eyes sparkled as she attempted a warning glare; but this moment was too nice. They were completely wrapped up in each other, their hair completely ruffled, and the sun was in mid rise as some light came into the room from the window.
"Ugh, do we have to get up? It's too nice to do anything right now." He muttered into the pillow. She smirked, running her hand along the side of his hair as he looked back at her.
"Well, I do know something we could do." She said, sitting up, letting her blonde curls spill over her shoulder, shrugging innocently.
He sat up also. "Hmm, Ms. Hart?"
Maya pressed her lips against his, and he smiled into the kiss. "Like..." He whispered against his lips. "Making pancakes together!" She surprised him, her innocent little expression transitioning back. Maya put on her fuzzy blue robe, pulling her blonde locks over the back as Lucas began to get up, pulling his pajama shorts on.
"Race you downstairs, huckleberry." She exclaimed, running down the stairs as he came fumbling after her, picking her up as they both reached down the stairs. She smiled and wrapped her arms around him.
"I love you." She said as they closed the gap between them, leaning against her wall. Being the complete wackos they really are.
