She held onto his hand as she followed him into his room, their room. Maya glanced over at their bed and remembered their first night they slept over together and the happiness they felt getting the apartment. Lucas turned around and their eyes met again even if it was dark. Both hesitant, Maya stepped in first and pressed her lips to his, her hands reaching up and digging into his hair like she had done all those other lustful nights.

His hands wrapped around her waist as she melted under his touch, a smile forming on her own lips against his. They both backed up until he sat down on their bed, the boy reaching down until he gripped her backside, wrapping her legs around his waist. Maya felt his hands move up her back, tracing over her skin, gently touching underneath the back of her bra as his lips went to her neck. Taking her hands off of him momentarily, she reached behind her, finding his hands and bringing them to her chest where the top button was resting.

Lucas stopped and looked at her unsurely. "Are you sure?"

She bit down on her lip, watching Lucas's eyes fill with lust before reaching for her gown and unbuttoning.

Lucas and Maya met eyes as he started with the first button, both smiling at the same time. Her skin prickled with goosebumps as her skin was exposed to the person she trusted with anything. Her fiancé was right in front of him, alive, and more real than ever. They were apart for so long, he didn't want to waste a second without her. The boy's eyes traveled back down to her chest-erm, shirt, and smirked.

"You know," he said as he snapped off the remains of the buttons. "This whole hospital gown ghost thing, I'm kind of digging it-" before Lucas could say more, Maya shushed him with her index finger.

"Probably better if you don't talk. If you even finished that comment, it probably would've ruined the moment." Maya said, stifling a laugh afterward at Lucas's expression. He stared down at her bra, laced with the colors black and purple. Maya's favorite combination. She reached behind her, gently unclasping her bra before it fell onto the ground, her smile growing wider. His hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer as her hands slowly slid up his toned shoulders. "Now." Maya said, her tone quiet and filled with sensuality, her legs tightening around his waist. "Giddy up, cowboy."

Their chests were slowly moving up and down, Maya's face turned to him as her thumb traced the line of his jaw, to his cheek and to the smoothness of his lips. Lucas's eyes fluttered open, a tired smile stretching at his mouth.

"I missed you so much." He whispered, leaning forward and pecking her lips. Maya's eyes lingered closed as a smile drew to her face. Lucas's hand reached up to her hair to gently tuck it behind her ear. Maya then sighed as she entwined their fingers together, her face in thought. "Hey." He murmured, lifting her chin with his hand. "What's wrong?"

"All the stress and worry I put on my family.. On Riley and you." She trailed off, closing her eyes.

"We don't need to talk about that. What matters is that you're here now. And you're okay."

"They don't exactly know that." She slightly quipped, shrugging. "They think I'm in my hospital bed with not a glimpse of memory." Maya snuggled closer to Lucas, wrapping her arms around him.

"When do you want to tell them?" She felt the vibrations of his throat ask as she leaned against into his neck, pressing a kiss onto it.

"Maybe tomorrow, if I manage to sneak back into that hospital." Her voice drifted lower as she brought her head back, a small frown on her lips. "At least I have you right now."

Lucas's eyebrow raised as he caressed her cheek. "And you will have the others, pancakes. They just don't know it yet. Just wait until you see their reactions when they find out you're back." Maya smiled at her husband's assuring expression, her heart beginning to relax. After a few moments of a soothing silence, her eyes watched as Lucas sat up, running a hand over his hair.
