Chapter 32

Violet's POV:

"Last day of school before graduation." I hummed quietly as I walked up the steps. I pushed open the doors and walked inside to the bustle of our school.

I had on short jeans shorts and a baggy, faded ACDC shirt. It was hot outside and the last day of school, I was mainly here to receive my marks and say peace out to all the haters.

I walked to my pretty much empty locker to just shove my bag in when Luke was there. We haven't spoken since prom and that was about two days ago. Even though it was hot outside he still had on his jeans and a flannel.

Briana spotted me and pointed behind Luke and he turned as she walked away.

"Hey Emerald." He said smiling brightly. I lightly touched the scruff on his face and smiled pressing a small kiss to his cheek.

"Hi." I said quietly. I turned to my locker and began undoing the lock as he stood beside me.

"Did you want to come over for dinner tonight?" He asked.

"I already met your parents." I chuckled.

"I know but my mom really likes you as does my dad and they keep asking me when you are coming back."

"Do I have to dress up?" I asked.

"I think what you're wearing is hot." He admitted and I patted his cheek while turning to walk to English to say goodbye to Kostka.

Luke wrapped his hand in mine and squeezed it lightly and I smiled at him briefly. Who knew Luke Rivers would be such a romantic.

"Purple...Book...Skateboard...I'm going to miss you three." Coach said wiping under his eye.

"Aww coach, don't cry." Briana said.

"I'm crying because the team is going to be shit without you three!" He said.

"We'll help you train them, don't worry, coach." I said.

"I can't believe all three of you got into the same university, especially with your marks, Skateboard." Coach said nodding towards Briana.

"What can I say? I got a full scholarship ride because of my skills at the beautiful game." She said.

"Even you Book with your coloured hair. How are you Yale material?" He asked.

"I have a ninety-two percent average." Paige said and he patted her head.

"Good for you." He said and then turned to me.

"Now Purple is the only real looking Yale student."

"Thanks coach." I smiled shaking his hand.

"I'm going to miss you girls. The best trio I have seen in a long time. I wish you all the best of luck, best of luck to you Briana, Paige and Violet."

"You know our names!?" Briana asked surprised.

"The only three names I know." He winked.

"I'm going to cry." Briana said as we walked out of the school. We turned back and gazed at the ugly building that we will never have to step foot in again.

"Why? You hate it here." Paige said confused.

"I know but Carla loved riding down the hallways." She said looking down at her board sadly.

"You know they don't yell at you for riding your board in university." Paige noted.

"I know, hopefully there are some gnarly paths." She said turning on her heels.

We hopped into Briana's truck and rolled the windows down.

"So I never got to ask, what happened with you and Luke at prom? When you went upstairs?" Briana smirked. Paige sat in the back and leaned up listening intently.

"Nothing, we watched a couple of movies and cuddled." I shrugged leaning back.

"He didn't give you the D?" Paige asked innocently.

"Did Logan give you the D?" Briana asked looking back at her through the rear view mirror.

"Are you kidding? That little virgin? I had to show him the ropes." She winked and I covered my eyes.

"Way to go Book." Briana smirked approvingly.

"So you're not a virgin anymore?" I asked her.

"Violet, neither of us were virgins." Paige said.

"What!?" I yelled.

"Yea sorry." Briana said sheepishly as she pulled in to the McDonald's drive thru.

"When? Who!?" I asked.

"Corbin." Paige said.

"Corbin Matthews?" I asked disgusted.

"I'm surprised you didn't come out of that wearing a Lacoste button up shirt and tennis skirt." Briana scoffed.

"And what about you?" I asked her.

"Luke." She said and my jaw dropped.

"Luke!?" I yelled and she hollered with laughter.

"I'm kidding! Ew that kid is like my brother!" She laughed and I shook my head.

"No I had a go with Ken Hayden." She said.

"Kenny? On the lacrosse team? Really?" I asked.

"Yea, it was kind of awkward because he is not as strong so he couldn't hold me up but it happened." She said.

"So I'm the only virgin? You guys had an experienced prom night?" I asked.

"Oh my God...Trent is so strong. I couldn't hang out Saturday because I literally could not move my pelvis." Briana said and I cringed.

"Nice." I said.

"Oh relax, Violet you and Luke will have a go and trust me, you won't be able to walk the next day." Briana said before taking our order.

"How do you know?" I asked.

"Because I know the girls who had sex with him and each one of them said his dick is made of steel or something." She said.

"Sweet Jesus I'm not going to be able to have children if I have sex with him." I said.

"You're not that fragile, you'll just be sore the next day. It's like working out." Paige shrugged.

"How are you talking about this so nonchalantly?" I asked.

"Because Trent and I have had sex numerous times in numerous places." Briana said.

"Gross." I said.

"In that seat to be exact." She teased and I frowned.

"We are comfortable with it Violet, we are experienced women." Paige said.

"Violet you are acting like sex is this huge deal, you know how many times your brother has had sex?" Briana asked.

"No I don't because I don't want to know about my brother having sex!" I said.

"Well anyways he has had sex numerous times. He's hot and he's done it, your mom has done it, mostly everyone you know has done it."

"It's a big deal to me because it is supposed to be special." I said.

"It will be special, especially if it is with someone you really like." Paige said pulling back my stray hairs.
