^^ low key that's Sophia and Sam. Cheerleader and football player :) maybe I will write a bit about them.
Chapter 42
Sophia's POV:
Yes I was in grade eleven and my boyfriend was second year in college. He played college football, my friends approved of me dating an older guy, however Sam was often criticized for having a girlfriend in high school.
He hasn't bothered Eric in a long time. I tease him about how he is jealous because Eric is better than him at football, however he declares it was something more and that him and Eric just didn't get along.
He was such a liar.
Although my father did not really approve of a life of cheerleading I was actually really good at it. I did gymnastics for a long time and did competitive cheerleading. I wanted to go far with it but I knew my chances were slim.
"Alright people that's it, go get some rest and ice up for the weekend!" Our coach hollered. I sighed heavily walking to my bag and grabbing my water. I wore a black sports bra and spandex with my hair in a ponytail with a bow.
"Holy fuck...I'm dead." Kaitlyn breathed next to me.
"I know. I understand this is a big competition but still. Sometimes it's too much." I whispered so only she could hear.
"Hey could I get a ride home?" She asked. I looked towards the entrance to see Sam leaned against the door frame on his phone.
"Yea, Sam and I can drop you off." I assured.
"Any chance to see Sam." She teased. I laughed slinging my under armour bag over my shoulder and stuffing on my matching flip flops. I snatched Sam's college football hoodie off the rack and shoved it in over my head.
"Hey Sammy." I smiled.
"Hey beautiful. How was training?" He asked meeting my lips briefly.
"Tiring. As usual. Do you mind if we drop off Kate?" I asked gesturing to my bubbly brunette BFF.
"Of course, it's no problem. How are you Kate?" He asked nicely.
"I'm good. I really appreciate this, Sam." She thanked. We walked to his black four by four truck and got in. I buckled up and sunk back into the seat tiredly. My body ached and I was overall too exhausted to do anything.
"Are you going to school tomorrow?" She asked.
"I'm going to see how I'm feeling. I'm so sore since he increased the reps in our training sets. My abs are on fire."
"That means they are getting more amazing for me." Sam winked. I placed my hand on top of his and smiled at him.
"I don't know if I am. Kostka said he is not here tomorrow, I have a spare second, gym third and we have presentations fourth." Kaitlyn and I had similar classes however I did not have a spare second period, I had creative writing class.
"The only class I would really need to go to is creative writing."
"Alright well just let me know, buddy." She said as we pulled up to our house.
"Bye bud, I love you." I called.
"Love you too, buddy." She waved.
"I can't believe you call each other 'bud' and 'buddy'." Sam teased.
"What you don't want me to call you buddy?" I giggled crossing my legs in the huge chair.
"No I don't really want you too." He grinned taking my hand and kissing the top.
"Can you stay over?" I asked.
"Your dad would murder me if he saw me." He said.
"Not if I keep the door open. I just want to cuddle with my buddy." I pouted.
"If I agree will you stop calling me 'buddy'?" He asked and I nodded eagerly.
----
"I was wondering where that sweater went." He mused as I took out my bow and placed it on my wall.
I cleaned my face and tied my hair into a messy bun. I was too exhausted to shower right now so I would do it in the morning.
"I like it." I said pushing down my spandex. I grabbed a pair of under armour work out shorts and kept on his sweater. He was already on my bed and as I turned off the light I practically dove at him.
He laughed as he caught me and hugged me to his chest tightly. I laid on top of him considering that I was so small. He wrapped his arms around the small of my back and kissed me head.
"You okay?" He asked and I nodded.
"I'm just exhausted. School and cheerleading is tiring." I murmured as he ran his finger tips up and down my back.
"I know but aren't you excited for your competition this Friday?"
"I am and especially because it is the first one you can come to." I said patting his pec. Sam usually has football training over the weekend but because it will be the start of reading week his coaches decided to give them a weekend off.
"I know we can spend the whole weekend together. Just you and I." He whispered softly.
