Chapter 51

Storm's POV: 😉😉😉

"I don't know am I not a good mom?" Sylvie asked me as I shuffled around the kitchen. I popped a piece of celery in my mouth and laughed.

"You're a horrible mom." I teased and she laughed.

"Oh fuck off." She said rolling her eyes. As she said that the front door opened. Jordie got up from his spot and ran to the door.

I looked up at Briana who came in, she had on sweats with her hair in a bun and a baggy t-shirt on. She placed her car keys in her pocket and placed an ultrasound picture on the table.

Sylvia looked at the picture closely as Briana sat down.

"Come here baby girl you need a hug from auntie Storm." I said pulling her into my arms. She weakly put her arms around me and she began sobbing lightly.

"Bri, why are you crying?" I asked pulling back. Sylvie took Briana's hands in hers.

"Because I'm twenty-one years old and pregnant, I'm not finished school, team USA lacrosse is done and Luke won't even look at me." She said.

"Honey, you will finish school and there will always be time for sports as for Luke..." Sylvie trailed off.

"Luke's being an asshole don't worry about him." I said.

"I'm the bad mom yet you just called your kid an asshole?" Sylvie laughed causing Briana to chuckle.

"I did because my baby boy is being stupid." I said while cutting up more vegetables. The door opened again and this time Chase and Eric walked in. They were my two favourite boys.

"When are you two getting married?" I blurted.

"Mom I'm eighteen." Eric said shocked.

"So? You two should have your own show, so many people would ship you guys." I pouted.

"Alright well hi aunt Sylvie, hi Briana I am going upstairs to hide from my insane mother." Eric said walking away.

"I love you too baby." I called after him.

"Where is Sophia?" Sylvie asked.

"Sophia had cheer practice, Sam is with her at the gym."

"Ethan?" She asked.

"He is in Texas with his girlfriend at her gymnastics competition."

"You let your son go to Texas with a girl?" She asked stunned.

"Harlow is a library assistant and a smart, dedicated woman. She has Ethan on a leash."

"Your parenting skills are A one." She said sarcastically.

"I'm going to head home, I'm tired." Briana said rubbing her eyes.

The door opened again- I swear our house is a young adult hang out now.

Violet came in with her lacrosse equipment on her back.

"Hi Vi." I smiled.

"Hi Storm, Lukey not home yet?" She asked placing her bag by the back door.

"No not yet, he should be home soon though, how was practice?" I asked.

"Tiring." She breathed.

"Alright I'll catch you later, bitch." Sylvie said slapping the counter.

"Bye hoe." I called.

"How is Briana doing?" Violet asked sitting down and picking at the veggies I cut up.

"She's upset, she says she is too young, she's upset because she can't play lacrosse and she is sad because Luke is not speaking to her."

"I know he is being really mean. They have been best friends for twenty-one years basically." She said.

"Yea pretty much they were hanging out before they could walk or even sit up straight." I sighed.

"I can try talking to him and seeing what he says, if not then I don't know."

"So you're graduating this year. I'm surprised the program you did was only three years." I said changing the subject.

"Yea I'm excited the magazine I write for is going to give me some more columns to do once I graduate."

"Exciting, do you get to go to New York with all the big stars?" I laughed.

"Maybe if I do something big enough. That would be a dream come true." She smiled.

"I'm so proud of you; Luke didn't do post-secondary, Ethan doesn't know what he wants to do, neither does Eric; Sophia is dating a twenty-two year old and she is only seventeen." I sighed shaking my head.

"Sam treats her well and they have been dating for two years." She said softly.

"I know it's just it seems like my future daughter in law is the only one with her head on her shoulders." I admitted.

"Future daughter in law?" She laughed.

"Yes, you and Luke are getting married whether you like it or not." I declared.
