Mission find Ethan a bae is a go! ;)Chapter 45
Ethan's POV:
"Dude where are you going? Lunch is this way." Eric laughed pointing towards the food area. I sighed knowing I had been caught.
"I'm going to the library." I admitted and Chase muffled a laugh.
"The Library? E you don't even know what a library is." Eric laughed.
"I-I Uh...have to do some research for an essay." I said scratching the back of my head.
"Alright, I'll see you at practice." He said walking away with Chase. I sighed and made my way to the library doors. Many people shuffled around with their friends looking for books and...stuff. I don't know, what else do you do in a fucking library?
I took a seat at a computer and aimlessly went through my email.
"Extra credit so you don't get kicked off the football team?" Someone asked. I sat up and looked at a girl with light brown hair and blue eyes. She had glasses on the bridge of her nose and pushed them up as I stared at her. She had large textbooks filling her small arms.
"I see, a nerd can't talk to a jock. My apologies." She said sitting down and opening the computer.
"What? Oh, no I'm sorry." I said my mind going blank.
"Okay I knew you guys were a little slow...but come on." She laughed teasingly.
"I just wanted to go somewhere quiet." I shrugged turning back to my computer.
"Quiet? Too many screaming girls?" She asked.
"No, I was hanging out with my brother and his boyfriend." I said.
"Oh well my apologies." She apologized.
"I'm Ethan." I said and she turned to me and smiled.
"I know who you are. You are the star running back or something." She shrugged.
"You actually know my position?" I teased and she chuckled.
"I know something about everyone here." She said and I raised an eyebrow.
"Because that is not creepy." I said and she laughed again causing people who were studying to look up.
"I'm the assistant here at the library. I know the files of a lot of people, your brother Eric is the star quarter back, his boyfriend Chase Maverick is on the swim team and it is a shame he is gay because he is gorgeous."
"Gorgeous, eh? I will have to relay the message." I teased and her cheeks rose to a nice pink shade.
"Stop I am just observing. I don't have time for immature boys." She said.
"Immature boys? Honey I am a university student."
"That most likely got in here for how hard you can hit." She countered and I scoffed feeling slight anger bubble in my chest.
"No, I actually do have good grades, baby girl." I said and I saw her eyebrows knit together.
"I'm not your 'baby girl', Rivers. I'm not a bottle blond or whatever it is called. What's your major?" She asked.
"My major? Shouldn't you know it?" I countered.
"No I don't, like I said I know certain things. If it makes you feel better I am in medicine." She said.
"You want to be a doctor?" I asked.
"I do." She answered.
"I'm in Sociology." I said.
"Soc? What do you want to be?" She asked curiously.
"I haven't decided yet. I might just go into the family business."
"We have job information meetings at the library every Tuesday night if you want to stop by. It's a chance to look at all the possible jobs you can do." She offered.
"You asking me on a nerd date, librarian?" I asked and she chuckled gathering up her textbooks.
"As I said I don't have time for immature boys." She said and I turned back to her as she walked away.
"I didn't get your name." I stated and she turned back.
"It's Harlow."
