Chapter 48:AN: Okay so I wanted to spice up the story a little bit...maybe with a pregnancy ;)
Ethan's POV:
"You should come over for dinner tonight." I stated to Harlow as she packed returned books away.
"Dinner? Your place? Possibly with your family?" She asked.
"Yeah, trust me my family is super chill and since I am the only Rivers child without a significant other..." I said mumbling the last part. She giggled lightly and I looked up seeing her push her glasses up on her nose.
"What time?" She asked.
"Well I have a football game which I should be heading to right now so I will pick you up after?" I asked.
"Sure, my car is in the shop anyways." She shrugged.
"Awesome! See ya baby girl." I said kissing her cheek quickly.
--------------
"Guess who finally has a girl!" I said excitedly while running into the football locker room.
"Who?" Eric asked curiously.
"Harlow Livingston." I said proudly and some of the other guys chuckled.
"Harlow? The library assistant? No way she is giving up her innocence for you." Chad said, I frowned at his comment and turned to fully face him.
"Who said anything about giving up her innocence? I like her, have you actually seen her? She's a fucking one hundred on a ten scale." I said defensively and he held up his arms.
"I'm just saying I went to high school with her and she didn't let anybody take her on dates or anything. I'm surprised she is letting you."
"Why would you say that?" I asked curiously. I folded my arms across my chest and some of the guys turned away.
"No offense, E but you are an ass to girls." He said and I nodded.
"This is not exactly news, Chad. I know I am an asshole to girls but not her. She actually turned me down when I asked to go out for dinner."
"Don't fuck it up E." Eric warned softly. I went over to my stall beside my brother and I peered at him as he pulled on his underarmour shirt.
"Why would I fuck it up?" I asked.
"I know you, E. As soon as some girl who's skirt is too high walks by, you become a different person. If Harlow is actually what you want then don't fuck it up. Girls like that only come once in a lifetime."
"I don't love her, Eric. Christ I just met her." I said taking off my hoodie and pants.
"I know you just met her but the way you talk about her makes me think you want to be more than friends and more than boyfriend and girlfriend. Obviously not now, but someday you may want to marry her." I buckled up my football pants as he said that and I stared blankly at my stall.
I was startled by a pat on my shoulder.
"Do you want some ice on that before?" The trainer asked me gesturing to my shoulder.
"Uh...yea." I said following him to the medical room.

Harlow's POV:
"God Harlow, what the fuck are you doing..." I murmured to myself.
"Shouldn't you be in the library?" Someone asked. I was right about to snap at them but my eyes landed on Chase Maverick, Ethan's brothers boyfriend.
"Oh...Uh, no. I finished about half an hour ago, I figured I'd come see Ethan play." I said nervously.
"Do you want to sit with me?" He asked. I nodded and he gestured for me to follow him to the stands. A girl with brown highlighted hair and piercing green eyes waved to Chase. She sat with a girl who had purple and blue hair, a blond girl and a guy full of tattoo's.
"Hey, Chase. Who is this?" She asked.
"Oh this is Harlow, she works in the library. Harlow this is Violet, that's Paige, the blond is Briana and that is her boyfriend Trent." He said. I waved to them and they all smiled comfortingly at me.
"So what brings you here, Harlow?" Paige asked.
"Oh, well I am having dinner with Ethan after so I figured I'd come watch this aggressive sport..." I said looking at all the large boys who wanted to kill each other.
"Oh you like Ethan? That is so cute." Violet smiled.
"It's more like Ethan is head over heels for her, no offense but he won't shut up about you." Chase said rolling his eyes.
"Really?" I asked surprised.
"Really. 'Oh she rejected me!' and 'She is so gorgeous but she hates me'." He said mockingly. My cheeks burned slightly as I turned my head back to the field.
"Their quarterback has a really nice ass." Someone said behind us. They were from the other school and Chase turned sharply and stared them down.
"Yes he does, and it's mine so back off ladies. Drool over your own quarterback." He said and they stared at him oddly.
"That's the quarterbacks' boyfriend." Violet whispered to them. They had surprised faces and then apologized to Chase.
"Everywhere we go women comment on my boyfriends' ass." Chase sighed. Violet rested her head on his shoulder.
"Ah don't worry, Eric loves you." She said. On cue someone waved to us and Chase waved back.
"That's Eric." He whispered. Eric turned and on the back of his jersey read E. Rivers.
"And that is Ethan." He whispered pointing to Ethan. He had his helmet on and was rolling out his shoulder slowly.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"He has a really bad shoulder. He's a stubborn little shit though so he won't go get it checked out." He said. Ethan turned and I swore he was looking at me so I put my hand up for a little wave and he did the same.
"His ass looks good too." I whispered causing Chase to break out in laughter.
