Chapter 17.

R: "I just need to go to the toilet, be back in a minute" she runs out of the tree and down the oval.
Levi paces around the trunk of the tree looking rather awkward and embarrassed. We are silent for about 30 seconds, when Levi breaks the silence and bursts out:
L: "I like you!"
I stand still and look at him in shock. I stare blankly at him.
A: "Really? I like you too!"
L: "really?"
A: "yes!! I've been madly in love with you for like 3 months, before I even met you!!"
L: "oh yeah.." He looks a bit embarrassed and he is blushing.
A: "no need to be embarrassed silly!"
He laughs and stands awkwardly again. He is twiddling his thumb and looking at the ground.
L: "Canikissyou"
A: "huh? Talk slower Levi"
L: "uhh umm..."
A: "yeah?" I walk closer to him and he is stuttering and muttering his words, I don't really know what's up with him. He looks embarrassed.
L: "can I"
A: "...yes"
L: "kiss you" He says really fast.
A: "uh uh uh I, I, I mean, sure"
I walk towards him and we reach for each other's hands, I close my eyes and we slowly touch lips. Magic! We break away and hug. I put my head on his shoulder and he holds my head and pats my hair. He kisses my forehead and we break apart.
"I love you" Levi whispers in my ear
"I love you too" I whisper back in his ear. I have to stand on my tip toes a bit, because he is a little bit taller than me.
Wow, that was amazing, it was my first kiss.
