My mom is coming down in 4 days and I have to say I'm excited to see her. It's been a while since I've seen someone from my family. Chris took the day off today to spend it home here. We're having a BBQ tonight and some of his friends are coming in from out of town. Their staying at a motel in town for a few days. They haven't seen each other in a while and they've never met me. I walk into the kitchen after giving Levi a bath and begin to make a snack for the kids before bed. Their new favorite snack is popcorn with chocolate chips in it. As I'm putting the popcorn in the microwave, Chris comes in and sits on a stool.
"She declined our offer." He says, smiling a little. I simply smile and continue what I'm doing. "Everything okay?" He asks.
"Fine." I say, walking out of the kitchen and to the playroom. I walk in and see Kacey and Jill holding a picture frame in front of Levi.
"That's us, my daddy and my mommy." Jill says, pointing to each person in the picture.
"We don't see him anymore." Kacey says, laying the picture frame down.I lay the bowls on the table and leave the room. I need some fresh air. I bypass the living room where everyone is and I sit out on the patio steps. I stare out at the water, the sun hitting it and the waves slowly rolling onto the shore. I hear the door open behind me and I glance back, seeing Julie come outside. She sits next to me but far enough to give me some space.

I'm stood around the fire outback with some of my buddies. It's nice seeing them after all the time we've been apart.
"How's it been having all those kids running around the house?" Caleb asks me from across the fire.
"Hectic."
"I bet." He chuckles."How's she doing?" Randy asks.
"She's not herself that's for sure." I say, sipping my beer."Well I can understand that."
"I'm trying too." I tell him."Your blessed." He says, pointing to the window.
The large window in the living room shows the lamps on in the living room. Meghan has Kyson and Briella in her arms and is dancing around the living room with the kids. Their all smiling and laughing, the sound of Let It Go streaming through the window. The dog jumps up to Meghan and she holds his paw, the babies giggling. I am blessed. I really am.

~Meghan's POV~
Julie and I wake up the next morning and take the twins and Levi to the farm. Last time we went the twins were just out of the womb but this time their older and can actually touch the animals. We get there and right away go to the horses. Levi loves them. It's what he's most excited for. He gets to the fence and he puts his hand over. I pick him up and he touches the horse.
After an hour of looking at the animals, we head over to the spot with picnic tables to have some lunch. We packed sandwiches and some fruit. I'm feeding the twins when I hear someone say my name. I turn around and see Rachel there with a little girl in her arms. She's a dark girl with curly brown hair. Around 2. Clearly she adopted. I don't know who would let someone with her background adopt."Where did this little guy come from?" She asks, bending down to Levi.
"Really it's none of your business." I say, looking at the kid in her arms.
"Just trying to make conversation." She chuckles. "Haven't seen you in a long time."
"I'm hoping to keep it that way." I say, looking away from her. After a moment she gets the hint and walks away from us. I look at her as she walks away. I can't believe the nerve she has.
