Naya POV

It's been a few days since Steffie was brought to hospital, her wounds are healing, but they haven't woken her up just yet. Right now I'm on set, because Ryan told me if I didn't come he'd fire me. At first I didn't really care, but eventually I didn't want to let my fans down. And they wanted a Brittana wedding so I had to go. Demi assured me she would take a few days off and keep me posted on Steffie's situation. Although I knew I couldn't do much, I still worried about Steffie, Ryan noticed, but pushed me to go through with the filming.

After a long day of filming I went straight to the hospital, seeing her room was empty, but a big vase filled with flowers was put on the table in her room. "What the hell?" Demi walked in with a coffee and a notepad. "Oh hey Nay, nice flowers you brought with you" she said, sitting down, taking a sip from her coffee. "They're not from me" I replied, looking at the flowers, noticing a card. "Het spijt me heel erg wat er gebeurd is, Steffie. Dit was nooit mijn bedoeling, hopelijk komt alles snel terug goed. -J" It read, well I have no clue what that means. "What does it say?" Demi asked, looking up at me. I shrugged, not knowing who it was. "No idea, I think it's in Dutch, but he signed with 'J' so I'm guessing Steffie knows who he is. Plus the doctors have seen him, so they know what he looks like and maybe they can call the cops. It's not like they can take her away from me again now she's here" I sighed, sitting down on a chair next to the bed, my hand finding Steffie's again.

"Do you have any news Dems?" I asked, not taking my eyes of Steffie, wishing they could wake her up. "Em, not really, the doctors have been running some tests, but not sure whether they found something else or if all is the same" she replied, absent-mindedly scratching something on her notepad. "What are you doing?" I wondered, tearing away my gaze from Steffie's face, looking at her. "Oh, just trying to write a bit, but I can't seem to find the right words" she replied with a slight frown on her face. "Thank you" I told her softly. She scrunched her face, not getting what I meant; "Thank you? What for?" "For being here for her, even though you don't really know her and well, because she's my girlfriend" I told her. "G-Girlfriend? Wow, I didn't know it was serious between the two of you, I mean I thought you guys were only friends because you worked together. I mean don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you Nay, very happy. I just didn't expect you two to be together. Plus she's a Lovatic, of course I watch after her, I'd do this for every Lovatic if I could" she replied, putting her notepad down, taking another sip of her coffee, before grabbing a chair and sitting next to me. "I know I screwed things up between the two of us, Nay and I'm really sorry about it all. I hope she makes you happy, since that's what you deserve" she concluded, pulling me in a hug, which I realised, I really needed.

We stayed in that position for a while until Heather walked in together with Lea, who was looking a bit suspicious, looking at me as if we'd talk later about it. "Hey guys, any improvement?" Heather asked, taking a seat at the table, pulling a chair next to her for Lea to sit on. "Sadly not yet, but I believe the doctors would come in a few to give an update" Demi replied, sitting straight again, looking at them, sending a slight smile. Lea sighed, looking over to Steffie; "I hope you get some good news Naya" she whispered, looking down at her lap. "Me too Lea, thanks for coming by the way" I replied, looking at the lifeless body that was my girlfriend.

Half an hour later the doctor arrived, taking in the silent wake at Steffie's bed. He cleared his throat, making his presence known. "Good evening everyone, I think I have some good news and some bad news" I looked up, immediately alert even though the long day was beginning to take its toll. "What's the bad news?" I asked, searching for Steffie's hand without looking at her. "Well I'll start with the good news, which would be a better order in this case" he chuckled lightly, before continuing, "Miss Vanmuysen is recovering well and most of her injuries have been healed. Of course she'll have some scars at certain places, but we covered most of them with ointment to make them less visible. There were several scars from before the incident, so sadly we couldn't do much about them, and removing skin just to cover them up is not possible, since they're not from burns" he concluded, "the bad news is though, that we can't wake her up just yet, she'll need a few more days then we can slowly heat that blanket up again to get her temperature back to normal and she'll awaken. So I'd say two more days and then we can start that process, she'll have to stay in hospital for another two to four days to check up on her condition as we don't always know how they wake up. After that she'll have to stay home for at least two weeks, only then she can get to work again, but not full time, at least not for the first months. Of course every patient is different, so the process might be sooner complete or just the opposite of that" he ended, looking at everyone. Heather was the first to respond, "Thank you for the needed update, doctor" she said, looking over at me, while rubbing Lea's back for comfort.

"Well that certainly is good news" Demi said quietly, glancing at me, "How are you feeling Nay?" she added, grabbing my hand to get my attention. I shrugged not really knowing how I felt. Happy that she was recovering, but why couldn't they just wake her up already, it's almost been a week and I miss her like crazy. The moment she wakes up, I have to know who did this to her. I don't care what it'll cost, I have to find out and when I do, I'll take them to court.

"Naya?" when I looked up, I saw it was Lea, to my surprise it was just us, Heather and Demi had left. "Where are..." before I could even finish my sentence, Lea interrupted me. "They went to get some water, but I told Heather to stall a bit, because I wanted to say a few words". Confused I nodded, waiting for her to continue. "I'll be the first one to deny that this situation isn't hard on you Nay, but getting back with Demi is not the right thing to do. Steffie is going to wake up again, she'll be devastated when she sees you and Demi together. But I don't judge you, it's hard I know, I remember when I just lost Cory and..." she stopped, her eyes filling with tears. Quickly I pulled her in a hug, whispering soothing words to her.

When she calmed down again, I slowly let her go, but still held her hands "Demi and I are not getting back together Lea. What you saw earlier, that was just a friendly hug, I desperately needed one, only I didn't fully realise until she gave me one. I love Steffie with all my heart, which is crazy since we don't know each other for that long just yet, but it's true" Lea's smile got so big, scaring me a little. "You two are just the cutest. You know every time she and I used to talk when you were on set or just not around, she wanted to talk about you, get to know every little thing about you, but then she stopped herself and said she wanted to find out herself"

I smiled, looking at Steffie, wishing the nexttwo days passed quickly, I couldn't wait to hear her voice again. "Say who isJ?" Lea asked, making me turn to her. Groaning I got up, shrugging myshoulders, "I have no clue, but since the guy signed with "J" I'm guessingSteffie knows him. But she never mentioned a "J" so I don't know what to do" Itold her, taking the card, flipping it over and over in my hands. "Maybe herfriend, eh what's her name again? Si...Su...Sa...", "Samantha?" I offered, shenodded, "Yep, I believe that's the one, but I doubt Sam knows who the guy isunless Steffie told her about him" "How do you know Sam doesn't know the guy?"she asked, frowning a bit. "Well since the text is in Dutch. Hang on I'm goingto translate it, at least we'll know what it says" I grabbed my phone andopened a translate page. Typing in the words, I read out loud the translation, "I'mvery sorry what happened to you Steffie. This should have never happened, Ihope everything will turn out alright soon. –J"r
