Naya POV

Heather was right, I had my answer now. After the bowling games, which Steffie and I won, we went pooling. For a moment there I thought we were going to lose the bowling game, since Lea used the bumping boards, I swear she's just a kid. To be honest, I've never pooled in my life, but it was great fun. Although I wish I would have worn other clothes, at least a shirt that wasn't as loose at the top. Every time I bent over, I saw Steffie's eyes shift to my top. I'll admit it, I was charmed a bit, but I also think Heather noticed, this girl was smirking all the time when Steffie's gaze shifted. Eventually we had to go home, but not before Lea paid for a new table rug, the girl had singlehandedly ripped the rug and had launched the cue ball straight onto the bartender who was making a cocktail. The view was hysterical, but in the end no one got harmed badly. Heather told me, she'd never forget the look on the man's face and to be fair, I think none of us would, especially not after Heather's numerous imitations of it. We said our goodbyes and left the building, I returned with Steffie to my apartment.

Standing on the steps of my apartment, with Steffie beside me, I felt like the time had stood still and we never went to the bowling-pool-alley. Searching for my keys, I heard her clear her throat, when I looked up at her, I saw her holding my keys. "Eh, how did you get those?" I asked, genuinely surprised. "They were lying on the passenger's seat in the car" she explained, handing them over to me. That's weird, I never took my keys out of my purse unless I was locking or unlocking my door. "Eh, thanks" I said, unlocking the door, letting the both of us inside. She stayed at the door, waiting for me to invite her in though. "Can we...Can we talk about...you know, about what happened before Heather and Lea interrupted us?" she asked, playing with her fingers, slowly looking up at me. "Of course, what's it you want to say about it or ask or whatever?" I asked, putting my purse away, before sitting down on the couch, patting the space next to me for her to sit as well. When she sat down, she immediately scooted closer to me, leaving no space between the two of us. "Good, you're not running away from me, that's a plus" she joked, looking up at my eyes. I smiled as a response, realising I in fact didn't want to run away from her. I wanted her to come even closer, but to my surprise and dislike she sat back a bit. "Obviously I liked it. I mean you saw my dork face. But I'm not too sure about your feelings ya'know?" she asked, blushing a bit when she called herself a dork. To say I was baffled was an understatement, seriously I thought I was being very clear, I thought she could read me like a book. Apparently not.

Well...here we go, it's time she knows.

"I don't know where to start Steffie, when we first met, I was dating Demi, although we were fighting a lot already back then. When you started to work as an assistant on Glee, I noticed you, you were different. A good different though. I mean you weren't a crazed ass fan, yet you weren't as professional as a regular assistant. You have this aura around you that makes you really likeable. At first I thought it was just that, just your aura, but then I got to know you and you really are a kind girl, I mean woman. When you decided to hang out with me when Demi and I broke up, I was pleased. Normally I would have called Heather, but for some reason I decided to hang out with you and I liked it, a lot. You took me to places no one would ever take me and I appreciate that. You're not treating me like a celebrity, you're just being yourself around me. And I can't stress how much I like that about you. Oh and don't forget that adorable blush you get when a celebrity friend of mine is talking to you. Do you even know how cute you are?" I ended my soliloquy, smiling up at her. She looked stunned as if it was all new to her. Did she really not realise how special she was? Slowly she shook her head as though she shook away her thoughts. "Nay...I..." she started but became quiet again. I tried to figure out how she felt, I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend, because after today, I was sure about it. "Do you...I'm just going to ask it, although it may be very blunt, but... Do you want to be my girlfriend?" I looked up, a bit shocked. Did she just? "Did you just?" "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked. I'll...I'll just go" I stopped her, quickly grabbing her by her arm. "Please don't go! Yes, yes I want to be your girlfriend" Getting up, I released her arm, smiling widely, "I was just taken aback by it, because I wanted to ask you the same thing" she visibly relaxed, rewarding me with her beautiful smile. "You did?" "Yes you goof, but you beat me to it" I giggled, wrapping my arms around her waist, slowly leaning in for a kiss.

The rest of the evening was spent on the couch, cuddled up in each other's arms while watching series. Being in her arms really calmed me and not to be egocentric, but I believe I have the same effect on her. "What do you want to do for tonight's dinner? Want to cook, order take out or do you want to go to a restaurant?" she asked, pulling me closer on her lap, burying her face in my hair. Smiling I shrugged, not really caring what we would do as long as she'd stay here with me. "Well, I..." I started, but got interrupted by my doorbell. "What? Who's there?" I wondered out loud, slowly getting up from my comfortable position. "I advice you check the door, so you know it" Steffie teased, playfully sticking out her tongue. "Watch it you!" I warned, pointing my finger to her, making her pout. God this girl... The bell rang again, making me run towards the door, "Yes, yes, I'm coming alright, geez" I said, opening the door. "Hellooooo" Lea and Heather said simultaneously, seriously them, again... "What are you two doing here, again?" I asked rather rudely. "We brought food!" Heather cheered, holding up bags which smelled so good. Muttering something under my breath I let them in, almost bumping against Steffie when I turned around. She smiled a crooked smile at me, pulling me into a hug, whispering in my ear; "Be nice, they brought food". Sighing I let go of her and smiled widely, going into the living room where I heard Heather and Lea chatting.

It wasn't until I reached the living room that I noticed Steffie wasn't tagging along with me. "Baby? What's it?" I asked when I saw her still standing at the open door. "Forgot how to close the front door?" I joked, standing beside her. "Steffie?" I asked again, softly touching her shoulder. She jolted at my touch, slamming the door shut. "Baby, are you okay?" She took a deep breath, with her eyes closed. "I'm sorry I thought I saw something, but don't worry, it's alright. I'm alright. Let's go eat" she said, opening her eyes again, letting me know everything was okay by looking at me. "Guys! Where are you at? Heather is eating all the food!" Lea called. "Better go before that actually happens" I said, taking Steffie's hand, guiding her to the living room. "There you are. Did you two stayed there to sneak in a smooch?" Heather laughed, earning a death glare from me. "Okay okay, before we start killing each other, let's eat!" Lea squealed, handing over some Chinese food.

Duringdinner I could see Steffie wasn't focused, she had this little frown on herforehead, telling me she was in deep thought. Every time I did catch her eyes,I tried to make her tell me what was wrong, but she just shrugged it off, as ifit was nothing to worry about. "Are you guys going to crash here so we can goto set all together or do you need to be somewhere?" Steffie asked. "Yeah, likea husband and child perhaps" I added, looking at Heather, trying to send her amessage. "No actually not, Elijah and Taylor aren't at home. They went toTaylor's mum tonight, plus I wanted to hang with Lea, Steffie and you" shesaid, slurping up some noodles. Rolling my eyes I stayed quiet, slouching downin the couch. "Yeah well you guys can't stay over tonight, we want to spent ourfirst night as a couple..." "Wait?! You guys are girlfriends now?! Since when?"Lea interrupted me, looking from me to Steffie, who was pulled out of herthoughts by Lea. "A-Actually since a few hours ago" she said, smiling brightlyat Lea, who squealed again, clapping her hands together. "Finally!" Heatheryelled, pulling Lea up with her, "Come on girl, I bet Naya doesn't want usclose when it happens tonight" she added with a wink in my direction. Rollingmy eyes, I watched them leave outside the door, before returning to Steffie. "Right,so do you want to go to bed? It's getting pretty late" I asked her, throwingaway the trash. "Sure let's go"
