When I woke up the sun was streaming though the white curtain around a window. I sat up slowly, slightly disoriented due to the fact that my surroundings were not familiar. I looked around and found a sleeping Ginger on the floor and then the events of yesterday came flowing back. The clock read seven and I hopped out of bed to get ready for the girls day and to make some breakfast for everyone. When I fixed my hair I went downstairs and looked around the fridge. There were some eggs, a bit of ham, and bacon. I chopped up a couple tomato's and some green peppers to make omelets with. As soon as the smell of bacon went wafting upstairs I heard footsteps. Alan came down in a pair of green and red plaid pajama bottoms and greeted me as I handed him some coffee.

"Did you sleep well?" Alan asked after he sat down at the bar.

"Like a baby! What about you? I'm sure the floor was uncomfortable," I said with a smile.

"It was but you fell asleep first and besides I wanted you to be comfortable," Alan told me.

"Aw well thanks. What would you like in your omelet?" I asked showing him all the ingredients that could be included.

"Everything. Did you get up just to do this?" Alan asked.

"Yeah it's my way of saying thanks and you know Evan cooked yesterday so I figured it was my turn," I explained. We fell quiet as Alan drained his coffee and I cooked. I could hear small giggles coming from upstairs and I smiled to myself.

"Here you are!" I said placing a plate down in front of Alan.

"Thanks! Here why don't you go get ready and I'll take over," Alan said with a smile while walking into the kitchen.

"Sounds good!" I said but hesitated to move.

"What's wrong?" Alan asked. I bit my lip but decided to just hug him anyway. I am not usually a hugger unless it's a close friend.

"Just thanks for everything," I said and let go of him heading for the stairs. When I got up to his room I noticed my bags in the corner and that he had placed my purse on the bed. I pulled out my Anthem made shirt and half and half purple and black jeans and applied the make up needed to cover my bruises. By the time I was done Evan and Austin were already down stairs.

"Hey!" I said with a smile noticing Alan had left. "Hope i'm not interrupting," I said sheepishly.

"Nope I was just about to come find you!" She said with a smile. I waved at Austin and we headed out the door. As we slid into Austin's mustang I turned up the radio in hopes to block everything out. I was nervous about going out but I knew Evan was just trying to help. Apparently we added another girl to our little girls day out. We spent about ten minutes in the car and finally got to a big house in a cookie cutter neighborhood. As we walked up the steps I could feel my anxiety worsen.

"Hey!" A young girl greeted us at the door. She had dark hair and a large smile. "Hey! Rory, Angel, Angel Rory," Evan said introducing us. I smiled and shook her hand but couldn't help but notice that she was looking at me carefully as if she was trying to figure out what was wrong with me or trying to decipher my life's story.

"Um, So you're Vic's girl right?" I asked trying to make polite conversation.

"Yep! How did you meet Evan?" Rory asked as we walked out to the car.

"Well I met her through Anna, who she works with i assume you knew that Ha but um Actually Alan is to blame for me getting closer to Evan," I told Rory.

"Ginger's it's always their fault!" Rory said making us all chuckle. The car fell silent as we tried to fight off our fatigue.

"I hope the weather clears up!" I said absentmindedly as I stared out the window at the oncoming storm. The car was silent for a few moments before I got a reply.
