"You ready for this?" Alan asked me. I smiled and nodded. We had made it to LAX pretty early and we were first to board the plane.
"You mean meeting my family again that I haven't seen in years. You mean reliving my parents death? yeah I'm ready," I said shaking. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.
"Well you wont have to do it alone. You know I'm here for you, besides aren't we going to universal and Disney while we are on this trip?" Alan asked with a sly smile.
"What?!?" I almost screamed. I hadn't been to a theme park in years and Disney was definitely my favorite. Alan chuckled and held my hand. It took thirty minutes to load everyone on the plane and another thirty to just roll to the runway.
"You have flown before right?" Alan asked. I nodded.
"Once when I flew from salt lake to LA with..." I said dropping the sentence at the end.
"Here take two of these you'll be fine," Alan said pulling out an Ambien bottle.
"I love you," I said taking the pills gratefully. It wasn't long before I fell asleep.

(JUMP FORWARD NINE DAYS)
ANGELS P.O.V.
"Hey babe?" Alan turned to me as we stood before the Peter Pan ride at Disney.
"Yeah?" I said looking down at my phone. Evan hasn't contacted me at all since her honeymoon started.
"You know how you wanted to plan a wedding fit for a queen for Evan?" Alan said. I nodded still shooting off a text.
"Well I was thinking you still can but not for Evan," Alan said. That got my attention. When I looked up Alan was down on one knee and had a small velvet box in his hand.
"Angel lux. I have loved you from the very moment I met you. You were like the light at the end of my never ending tunnel. You were my savior and my inspiration and I wasn't going to stop until I had you. You are my best friend and my soul mate. You're the apple of my eye. Will you make me the happiest man to ever live and marry me?" Alan said. My whole world stopped turning. Cameras flashed and I felt tears build up in my eyes. It was like I was frozen but all at once I said one word.
"Yes! yes yes yes yes yes!" I said. cheers were heard all around me and I blushed as Alan slid his ring well my ring on my finger. It was a beautiful 3 karat diamond ring with a sterling silver band. I remembered pointing it out to him as we visited my dad's old work. Most of his friends still worked there.
"Congratulations!" A man dressed as Peter Pan said. He looked unhappy just like when Wendy told him that she was leaving.
"Oh Thank you Peter. This doesn't mean I'm growing up I'm just going to fly away for a bit!" I said. There were a couple kids around us and I didn't want to break character for him. He smiled catching on.
"Can we shake?" He asked. I smiled and nodded doing their little handshake from the movie and the kids around me laughed. As we walked away Alan chuckled.
"What?" I said blushing and further inspecting the ring that was now on my finger.
"How did you do that?" Alan asked referring to the act back at the Peter Pan ride
"I memorized that movie like the back of my hand. I told myself if I didn't grow up I wouldn't have lost my parents and I clung to it like a safety blanket," I said my voice softening.
"That's really cute. I love you," Alan said.
"I love you too," I said putting my hand In his as we headed for the parking lot. I wonder how my aunt was going to take it.
"Have you heard anything from Austin. It's weird going this long not hearing anything from them," I said with a smile. No matter how hard I tried my eyes still zeroed in on the gorgeous ring of mine. I already had a list of who would be invited but I had to narrow it due to recent losses. It all happened so fast.
"So do you have you're heart set on a venue?" Alan asked.
"You avoided my question," I said.
"No I haven't but I'm sure they are fine," He said with a smile.
"Yes I have a venue I like particularly. Long beach actually but I would also kind of like to get married here. You know so that my parents are at least near me. We have a while to think about it though right?" I asked him.
"Of course," he said pulling into the driveway to our hotel. tomorrow we would go back to my aunts but tonight was definitely about us.
"Come along Mrs. Ashby," Alan said seductively pulling me upstairs to our room. I laughed as he would stop every so often to kiss me. Each time it got a little deeper. Just as we got to the room my phone rang.
"What?" I groaned. I was already flustered. Alan looked sad but I mouthed Evans name and he immediately understood.
"Angelllllllll, I know you and ginger snap are on vacation but I need something romantic I can do in five minutes and set up In a hotel room I'm drawing a blank. any ideas?" Evan asked me obviously drunk. I'm glad she is enjoying herself. Alan kissed my neck and I giggled softly.
"Stop," I said pulling my phone away so it didn't pickup what I was saying as well. Alan deepened the kiss and I moaned
" Sorry. um why don't you set up a bath. You're in a honeymoon suit right?" I asked my breathing getting heavier.
"um yeah.... should I call back later?" Evan asked as I kissed Alan again.
"stoooooooooop," I giggled. "No it's fine those suits always have a romance pack with candles and rose petals and stuff so just set that up around the bath. That will be relaxing," I told her. "Oh and just a little advice, Please don't drown you sound a little drunk," I giggled at her.
"Thanks. My turn for advice! Don't answer the phone during sex it's awkward for both parties!" Evan said.
"I WE WERENT~" I said but Evan had already hung up. Oh well that worked to my advantage anyway.

"Oh Angelica it's beautiful! I want to say I didn't know but I so knew!" My aunt marcy said. I smiled.
"I knew someone had to be in on it. Ginger bread can't keep a secret to himself," I said kissing his cheek.
"Are you sure you have to leave?" She asked me.
"Yes unfortunately but i'll be back for wedding planning of course!" I said as we turned to go through security.
"Okay honey I love you be safe!" She said as we entered security. I couldn't wait to tell Evan.
