-A MONTH OR SO LATER-

It has been a month since I left LA. I had been texting Evan and Aaron every day but yet Aaron was the only one to respond. I had settled in nicely over here but I was in a constant state of depression. Aaron no matter what the time difference was found time to text me. We talked about tour and the new album which I haven't listened to aside from "Bones Exposed," because it caused too much pain. He never mentioned Alan's name but he would hint at how he was doing which was seldom good. Their tour was ending over there soon and Aaron mentioned Evan and Avery were to visit soon which I knew would help Alan out. It was around four in the morning when I got the text.

"Evan and Avery came to visit. Evan thinks that to get him out of his funk he should go out with Avery and her and Austin as a double date. Sorry," Aaron said. My blood began to boil and I started to see stars in my pitch black room as if the paparazzi were at my window. I immediately texted Evan knowing she wouldn't respond but I had to say something.

"I know about your plan and I don't like it," I told her. Her response came right away to my surprise.

"Yeah well we've got to do something the guy is miserable. This is just for fun," she said. I knew better.

"She's not good enough," I responded with venom.

"Why because she's not you? He can't wait for you forever he's got to move on and you're not coming back," Evan said. Oh we will see about that.

"Well...fine," I said. I switched to safari and quickly booked and paid for a plane ticket before snagging a ticket to their last show. Since I was leaving within the next two hours I would get in with four hours to spare and I j we John would let me in no questions asked.

"And what the hell? Are you only talking to Aaron now because you haven't said a word to me since you left and you didn't even say goodbye!" Evan said.

"That's not true I've been sending you stuff everyday! You're the one ignoring me!" I accused while grabbing my stuff and putting on pants before waking out the door.

"No you haven't," she typed back.

"You're still mad because you think I had something to do with everything but I didn't!" I typed pointing out the elephant in the room.

"It's not because of that," she said. I didn't have time for this. I ordered a taxi and told him I wanted to go to the airport, the trip from the apartment was fast and I quickly texted an apology to Max and josh who had inadvertently found me. Max was great he hadn't said anything to anyone but josh needed a friend one night and wound up finding me. He hasn't said anything after that either. I already had my boarding pass so I flew through security and just barely made it on the plane before departure. This was a ten hour flight because it was a red eye and we didn't have a layover in New York like last time. The plane was filled with people and there was no way I could sleep. Good thing I had to plan things, that would keep me busy. The cabin was stuffy and just let my mind wander.

-///////////----//////---///

To my suprise I had fallen asleep and was woken up by a lovely lady telling me we had landed. I quickly jumped up and grabbed my carry on and practically flew off the plane. I knew customs here was going to be a bitch so I rushed to get in line. Thankfully there were only two people in front of me.

"Passport?" The lady asked. I handed it too her knowing that it was expired as of today.

"This is expired I can't let you through," she said monotonously.

"My husband was in a terrible car accident and they don't know if he's going to live I need to be there," I said turning on waterworks.

"How long ago did you hear from the doctor?" She asked.

"He emailed me an hour ago saying he's still in surgery after three hours "

I said buckling at my knees.

"Well is he okay?" She asked.

"We don't know! Ahhhh," I said gripping my stomach.

"Sorry the stress is making the baby jumpy," I said. The meet and greet was in an hour and I had to be there.

"I could get fired for this," she mumbled. "Go ahead hon," she spoke finally. I hobbled out but as soon as I was out of view I sprinted to the street. I jumped in a taxi and told him to take me to the plaza. I didn't necessarily like the venue but its here I first saw Alan play and its fitting we would reunite here. That is if he wants me back. I know Austin and Evan and Phil and Tino were going to be skeptical but this wasn't about them. It was between Alan and I. We got there in thirty minutes and the meet and greet was only ten minutes away. I grabbed my bag and walked right up to John.

"Angel?!? Oh my god it's good to see you. Do the guys know you're here?" He asked hurriedly. I shook my head and he immediately pulled out a laminate.

"I'll take that. Here you can go first," he said.

"Nah ill go last. I don't know how the boys will react," I said innocently. Most of it was true. The sun beat down against my skin and it was nice. I didn't get out much in London and beside that it was raining most of the time. The line of sixteen or so people were finally let in and the guys came out. I put my sunglasses on and I was glad they were being occupied. Alan didn't look up at all and when I finally got the the table I was greeted by Aaron.

"Who's this for??" He asked as I handed him my recently bought copy of restoring force.

"Your favorite fan," I said. When he heard my voice his head snapped up.

"Shh," I said. He nodded and passed me along down the line. Phil and Tino didn't say much and it was fun to imagine what their reaction had been but I got to Alan all to soon.

"What's your name sweetheart?" He said without looking up,

" well it should be Angel Ashby but I missed planning my wedding because I ran away from my problems to keep people safe," I said quickly. I didn't even get through the whole sentence before Alan and Austin stood up. The whole band was in shock except Aaron who had some time to process.

"Sorry guys we have to cut this short. The band needs time to get ready," John said shuffling everyone but me out. I heard complaints from others but at that moment I didn't care. Alan was like in a trance and Austin slapped his back lightly to take him out of it.

"Is it really you?" Alan asked. I had tears in my eyes but I pulled off my sunglasses and moved my hair out of my face. Alan smiled before he started crying. I came around the table and just held him. We hugged for what seemed like foever and just let out our emotions. Aaron gave me a thumbs up and then the side door opened.

"Ohmygod," Avery said fast. Alan and I both looked up and saw a very shocked Evan and Avery standing frozen in place. I sighed.

"Welcome home," Aaron finally said breaking the tension. I smiled. I had never thought those words would sound so good. It's good to know at least two people accept me back.
