The boys had been over practicing for the show at chain reaction a lot more often lately and now it would finally pay off. The how was supposed to be earlier this week but it got moved because of complications of double booking.
"I'm so glad the couch could just slide off the carpet. All this moving around stuff would take it's toll on the floors if
not!" I said to Evan as she watched us re arrange my living room. She just gave me a look and I already knew what she was thinking. I still haven't told Alan yet and she was getting antsy. To my surprise this was the one thing she kept from Austin as well. Maybe it's because she knew he'd spill the beans. When everything was put back into place I smiled.
"Ready for lunch?" I asked Evan. The boys would head out to sound check soon as we were going to lunch before their show tonight to just talk.
"Yep let's head out," she said before kissing Austin one last time. They had been closer since the talk they had about the kid having Marfan syndrome and life seemed to be falling into place. Well for everyone besides me.
"Take good care of them," Austin said emphasis on them.
"Will do sir," I said while grabbing my keys and walking Evan out to the car.
"When are you gong to tell him?" Evan asked as we got in the car.
"When the time is right, this is not the time," I said taking off towards the restaurant.
"What happens if you wait to long and he starts to notice," Evan said bring up a good point.
"Am I showing yet? I've been so paranoid!" I said frantically.
"No but your gonna start. We just look really bloated now but it gets worse and Alan has been so observant that he's definitely going to notice the obsessive eating and slight weight gain soo," she said. I sighed as we sat down in the little Italian restaurant. The smell of garlic made us booth look at each other and walk right out.
"Maybe we should just get some ice cream," Evan said with a laugh.
"Yeah and sign up for mommy yoga to counter all the carbs!" I said jokingly. We pulled into a sonic and ordered two extra large milkshakes and just sat comfortably.
"I think I will tell him tonight, I mean he has to know before they go on another tour," I said realizing my slowly shrinking time slot.
"Tonight would probably be your best bet," Evan said just as we finished our shakes. There was no way the boys were done with sound check and we both decided we should probably just go hang out. Evan was excited and I was as well. This was probably the biggest crowd we've seen the boys play for and as we finally got to the venue I got the jitters. John let us in right away and Evan and I took our usual spots in the middle of the floor. The lights were getting to me a bit but I liked. Feeling the vibrations through the floor. Alan tried showing off and it made me giggle like mad. Maybe he would want this kid. Maybe it'll have his hair or his eyes or super white skin.
"DOORS ARE OPENING!" John yelled from behind us. I looked t Evan worriedly and we both jumped up and made a dash for the merch. Many of the kids looked at us trying to decide If we were important probably but we didn't give them a chance to find out before we made a mad dash for the back stage area. I ran onstage with Evan.
"THANKS FOR THE WARNING JOHN!" We screamed causing more fans to stare at us. I giggled and ran back to where Alan was waiting.
"You alright? Evan didn't get hurt did she?" He asked concerned. I smiled and shook my head. It's gonna be odd having the guys worry about both of us.
