Angels POV.

When Evan and Austin returned it was past dark outside. Alan and I talked about his upcoming tour and how we would work out talking to each other. Nala was curled up and asleep in his lap and he was so much happier now that the stress with Evan was over. Evan walked in with the biggest smile on her face I have ever seen. Time to act surprised.

"Hey guys how was the date?" I asked catching Austins wink. I smiled. Alan was now in  on it and he was doing a good job at just not talking.

"Well,"Evan said bouncing over to me and grabbing my arm pulling me up from the couch. We went upstairs to her room.

"Okay so he took me out to this really fancy restaurant and there were lights in the trees. We sat on the secluded deck and watched the sun go down and after the main meal we went on a walk and well," She said showing me her left hand.

"OH MY GOD NO WAY!" I screamed. This was a beautiful ring."You are so lucky! He loves you so much," I said.

"I really love him," she said smiling to herself. I knew she did and it was just the icing on top that she said yes. I was a bit worried she would reject the idea with everything going on.

"I hope one day I'll feel the happiness you are feeling right now with a certain someone," I said a smile cracking on my lips."I get to be bridesmaid right?" I said not loosing focus on Evan. This was her special night sorta.

"Hell yeah!" she laughed. "Of course you better promise to be here," She said reminding me of the conversation we had before the cataclysmic events ensued.

"I will," I said crossing my heart. "but you better get married before this five years is up because after that it's iffy," I told her.

"Nope you swore!" she yelled and I laughed.

"Okay, Okay, If i'm gone I'll come back for you," I said with a chuckle.

"Hope it never comes to that," she smiled and hugged me."I need a girl around to deal with all these guys," She said and there was a knock on the door.

"Princess. I made us dinner," Alan said leaning against the door frame.

"Okay!" I said bouncing up and taking his hand. I waved at Evan and left with Alan.

"So is she excited?" He asked me. I smiled.

"Yep and I get to be a bridesmaid and hopefully I get to plan some of this. I don't think she needs the stress right now," I said as we went into the dining area. The lights were dimmed and candles were flickering. Austin excused himself and went upstairs.

"What's all this?" I asked smiling as he waited for me to sit down so he could push my chair in.

"Just some romance. I was in the mood for some tonight." Alan said blushing almost.

"Awe. Ashby has a soft side," I said as he lifted the cover on our food.

"Your favorite madam," He said reveling Chicken Alfredo and some steamed veggies and pouring some white wine. I was smiling so big that my face hurt. He sat down across from me and we dug in.

"Did you make this or did you order it?" I asked skeptical because of how good it tasted.

"Don't tell the guys but I make really good Italian food," He said with a sly smile. We had a lot of small talk during the meal but we finished it really fast.

"Are you sure you are okay with us leaving in a week?" Alan asked for the second time tonight. Honestly I didn't want him to leave but he had to. That's what guys in bands do.

"Yeah It's fine I'll just have to watch Evan a little more carefully. How long will you guys be gone again?" I asked him. He smiled.

"Only four weeks this time. That's like a month," He said excitedly. I could tell he loved to play for his fans and that made me smile.

"I assume Austin talked this over with Evan?" I said. I mean he should have by now. Alan shrugged and I grabbed our plates and started to clean them up. Alan helped by drying the dishes and  pouring me more wine.

"You guys could come with us I guess," Alan said breaking the silence. I shook my head.

"Austin is distracted enough. He doesn't need Evan there to make it worse," I said. Alan's smile fell.

"I would go if I thought it was a good idea babe I would but you guys need a break," I said. He finished his last dish and grabbed our glasses and bottle of wine and took off upstairs. Where was this even heading?
