Chapter 21

When Evan came home I was in the middle of intense planning. My side was stinging immensely as Johnny had but an outline for the rose I wanted in place. It was going down my left side and I would have diamond dermal's at the point of the rose thorns. He filled in the leaves on the stem.

"Hey! How'd it go?" I asked not really expecting an answer. She smiled.

"U'm good I guess?" She said after she couldn't come up with a sarcastic answer I assume.

"Have you heard from the boys? I called them to ask them about something but no one answered," I said after we had made plates for lunch.

"No, but when they are working they get in the zone you know. They are probably fine," Evan said reassuring me. I still had a bad feeling in the back of my mind like they were in trouble.

"I'm still kinda worried about this morning they don't usually leave like that," I mumbled more to myself then her.

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried too but I have been trying to be more trusting so I've convinced myself it was nothing," Evan said trying to comfort me.

"I want them to answer their phones," I said pulling mine out and staring at it like it was going to do something. Evans phone went off causing me to jump.

"Is it them?" I asked hurriedly.

"I hope so," She said pulling her phone out. She groaned giving me an answer. "Its the police," She said and stood up."Hello?" She said annoyed. I couldn't hear the person on the other end but I knew it was news. "Hey jen," She said. The secretary was nice. "Um okay about my dad?" She asked. Now we were both confused. "Okay i'll be there in ten minutes I guess," She said and hung up. I put the plates in the sink.

"What's up?" I asked. I couldn't bear the confusion.

"I'm not sure. The police just asked me to come in and answer some questions," She said obviously dreading the trip.

"Maybe they are getting closer to your dad and want to get some more information about him!" I said excitedly.

"I really hope so," She sighed while getting into the front seat. The drive was quick and we both marched into the police station nervously. Someone wanted me to wait outside but I went into the first room I could find. The guys from the band minus my fieance were sitting together.

"What's up?" Evan and I asked at the same time.

"Oh my god, has something happened to Alan where is he?!?" I said hurriedly.

"No he's being questioned right now," Jen the secretary said. I smiled and sat down. They were trying to get Evan to follow jen but Evan ignored their pleas. She walked up to Austin and whispered something. They again told her to follow them.

"Don't touch me!" She spat at an officer and he said " then follow me," In the same tone.

"Just go. You'll be fine," Austin encouraged. I smiled and nodded. Once she left I turned to the boys.

"Alright spill!" I said looking at them. Austin put his face in his hands and phil spoke up.

"They think Austin was sleeping with her when she was under aged," He said quietly.

"Well that's a load of bullshit! we all know he didn't," I said.

"Yes but they don't" Austin moaned.

"I'm sure they will get it all sorted out my love," I said moving to rub circles on his back to sooth him. There was yelling from the other room and Evan burst through the door with Alan.

"Come on guys lets go!" Evan said angrily and we all jumped up at the same time and exited. Alan grabbed my hand and squeezed hit hard. He didn't say anything but I could tell he was upset.

"Fuck them they are stupid!" Evan was seething now. Austin hugged her. "You would never do that to anyone," She whispered. I sighed and everyone seemed upset.

"So everyone's free would you like to go out to eat now?" I asked trying to lighten the mood.

"I'm in," Evan said.

"I'm starving," Alan whined and we all separated to our cars. Apparently everyone road with Austin here and we let him and Evan have their privacy so the rest road with me. We ended up at Kyoto. Evan and Austin were still upset and so was I but we all tried to pass it off as if we didn't care anymore. After two beers we started believing it. Ran couldn't technically drink but Arron ordered them and the ended up in front of her. She needed it today.

"So to put things on a happier note. Some of you don't know that there will be a new permanent member to the family," Alan said lifting my hand to show off the ring.

"Yes another wedding!!!" Aaron said. I smiled. He and I had really become quite close. Murmurs of congratulations floated around the room and I was quite happy with their reactions. Phil tino and Aaron regaled us with stories of their Christmas's and how cute or udder my boring they had been and it started to feel like we were just a normal group of people hanging out.

"Well we should get going. We all need to do this again it was just like old times!" I said. Everyone agreed and Austin and Evan drove tino Phil and Aaron home. Alan decided he would drive and I winced when I got in the car.

"everything okay?" Alan asked.

"Yeah just slept wrong last night," I said trying to sound convincing. I guess it worked.

"They asked me about some pretty personal shit ange," Alan said out of no where.

"Like what?" I said becoming increasingly more concerned.

"Like if I had kidnapped you. was I holding you against your will," he said gripping the steering wheel so tight his whole hand turned ghost white.

"On top of asking about Evan and Austin?" I asked. He nodded.

"That's it. This has got to stop. If I find that fucker before the police do I'll kill him with my own hands!" I said becoming distraught.

"We need to move again," Alan said. I nodded knowing he was right. Evan had texted me letting me know that she and Austin were thinking the same thing.

"I have an idea!" I exclaimed as we pulled into the complex. I hoped to god it would work.
