A/N: I am so freaking out right now to think that this collection of one-shots is oh so close to 10K. That blows my mind (insert sound effect). Lol...I am so weird. 

So I had a request submitted in a bit ago by one of my favorite people in the entire world Mistress_of_Chaos. If I counted right in my head, this may be her third/fourth request. Just shows you guys can still request even you have done it before. Anyways because she is awesome and have ideas that are equivalent to her awesomeness, I am fulfilling her request through this one-shot. 

Stacie this one is for you girl!

Thankfully winter has not hit New York that bad for Stacie not to go outside and read in her favorite spot. Continuing to make the clicking sounds from her mouth, she was able to walk past all the runners, dog walkers, and performers in Central Park without a scratch. The young brunette reached her destination on her bench when she felt someone already sitting there. 

The thing you need to know about Stacie, which you have probably guessed, is that she's blind. Has been that way since she was a teenager. You see her father was one of the supporters and founders of one of the biggest chemical and radiation plants in the whole world. One day when Stacie was a young girl, he took her to work one day since her mother was busy. She was trying to look for something to do when she accidentally went into a lab that was testing extremely high levels of chemicals that not only affected her body, but caused her to fall down and hit her head. 

From then on, she has been blind. Her parents, being huge members of rich and social elite, could not have a handicap as a daughter so they disowned her. Thankfully her uncle took her in with open arms and raised her to the best of his abilities. There was a period where he was literally always there for her and provided for her. Then he became famous in his field of study thus causing them to separate. Though they lived apart from one another, he always tried to visit or send letters/emails to her despite......his line of work. 

While she adjusted being blind fine, the young teenager wanted to make sure she was never dependent on anyone and anything. She learned to use echolocation to locate her surroundings and what/who is near her with her mouth and stick. Using her hands, Stacie found that she could still read and see colors if she touched them. Along with that, the brunette took an interest in combat fighting and weapons. 

After looking around for a while, an old man who too had blindness agreed to teach her the art of martial arts. Master Stick taught her everything she knew about fighting and other techniques she could use with her blindness. During her training, she had acquired and made her own sharp knives. Plus she had her own ammo and machine guns. 

It was unhealthy obsession in the eyes of others, but she found it fascinating and thrilling.    

In the midst of high school, Stacie had decided to use her skills for the greater good. New York, while being one of the best and well known cities in the world, was also very dangerous. Since the Avengers were too busy saving the world, she figured she might as well save the innocents and defend the weak while kicking butt of all those criminals. 

She has been doing this for perhaps five years now. Stacie felt like she was really making a difference and doing the right thing. She has gotten stronger, faster and swift in all of her actions with each encounter. Honestly, she thinks she is almost as good as any of the Avengers funny enough.
