The AC hummed softly in the background and as she snuggled up to Steve, Aislinn whispered, "I'm not making you too cold, am I?"
"Not at all," he whispered back, his fingers moving lightly along her upper arm. His breathing was back to normal now, his heartbeat slowing as her head rested on his chest.
"Are we still fighting?"
The sheets rustled softly as he rolled to gently pin her beneath him. "We weren't fighting, honey."
"Sure we were." The soft light coming from the bathroom glinted off his hair and without thinking, she reached up to brush it away from his forehead. "But I don't think we are now."
He dipped down to brush her lips with his. Then, he skimmed a kiss along her neck, whispering, "I don't think we are, either."
"Good." She wound her arms about his neck. "I don't like fighting with you."
"The make-up sex is worth it, though."
As he spoke, he gently arched against her and she shivered, smiling up at him. "Again, Mr. Molinaro?"
"With you, baby? Always." He nuzzled her again, adding, "If the time comes I don't want to make love to you, check to make sure I've got a pulse, okay? Because I'm probably dead."
She smiled, rubbing her cheek against his silky dark hair. "I always find it funny when a man says make love. It's such a womanly phrase."
He lifted his head to grin at her. "What?"
"It just strikes me as a more feminine thing to say, that's all."
"Are you calling me girly?"
He said it with a grin, so she winked and said, "Yes. Yes, I am."
"Girly? Me?"
"I'm calling you girly."
"I'll show you girly." He caught her left hand, and then her right, and pinned them up above her head with only his right hand. Then, he captured her lips in a playful kiss that she felt all the way to the tips of her toes. It started out playful, but quickly deepened, the tip of his tongue stroking along her bottom lip, then when she parted them, he delved down. She tightened her fingers about his as his tongue teased hers, as it caressed hers.
Her hips rose on their own to meet his and he groaned into her mouth, bringing a smile to her lips. He stirred against her thigh, bringing a groan to her lips this time. He was just the most well-built man she'd ever known. Her Midgardian hadn't a soft patch anywhere on him. He was all finely-honed muscle--from his broad shoulders to his thick calves. He was just... magnificent.
He arched to her this time, sliding easily through her still-damp curls. He kissed along her neck, down toward her shoulder, each teasing stroke sending another delicious shiver through her. Dear gods, she wanted him and he'd only barely touched her this time. "Steve..." she breathed, her lips skimming his ear, "jeg elsker deg, min vakre mann..."
He lifted his head, his dark eyes smoldering with desire. "What?"
She curved her hand against his cheek. "I love you."
His eyes closed briefly, his smile soft and seductive. "I love you, too, baby."
With that, he reached down and she bit her bottom lip as he eased inside her. He was gentle, each thrust slow and easy, but enough to make her blood bubble hotter through her veins. His fingers tightened about hers as he thrust and his lips claimed hers in a slow, deep kiss that left her smiling up at him.
"God, you're so fucking beautiful," he growled as he arched into her again. He shuddered, his eyes closing briefly, his teeth clenching. It must have taken every bit of control he possessed to keep his slow, teasing pace, and as her climax slowly built, she eased her legs about his hips and rocked up to meet him.
