Candles flickered all around the room and Aislinn sighed softly as she sank against Steve. He wrapped his arms about her, one hand coming up to stroke her hair as he whispered, "Oh, baby... what you do to me..."
She smiled, sliding off to curve up against him. Tracing a small circle about his left nipple, she whispered, "What you do to me, Steve..."
With her ear pressed against his chest, his laugh was a low rumble. "What do I do to you, honey?"
"Make me feel things I never knew possible." She gazed up at him. "Make me feel loved. Secure. Safe."
"Safe?"
She nodded. "I feel as if I belong right here. With you."
"That would be because you do."
"You know what I mean."
"I do and I'm only teasing you, Ash." With a low sigh, he shifting onto his side, his eyes glittering in the golden light as he gazed over at her. "When did you want to go?"
"What?"
"To Asgard."
"Oh. We can go in the morning."
"Good." He leaned over to kiss her, pulling back just far enough to whisper, "Because I'm not finished with you just yet."
"Oh, really?" she whispered back.
"Uh-huh." He shifted once more, urging her onto her belly. She squeezed her eyes shut as he pressed gentle lips against her shoulder blade. Warmth sank into her as he eased himself over her and came flat against her.
"Mmmm..." She breathed as tingles rushed through her with each light kiss. "That feels nice..."
"Good." He swept his lips along her spine, moving down toward her hips. "It's supposed to."
She sighed, her muscles growing languid, her bones going to mush. He worked his way down, over her backside, along the back of her left leg. Down her calf. With each kiss, her desire for him grew once more. Somehow, she didn't think she'd ever have enough of Steve Molinaro. Not ever.
He came back down at against her, his hands skimming along her arms, covering her hands, linking his fingers with hers as he whispered, "I love how you feel against me, Ash. If I died right now, I'd be a happy man."
"Don't even joke about that," she whispered.
"Don't worry, baby," his breath was warm on her ear, his lips skimming along its shell, "I plan on growing very old with you. Being surrounded by grandchildren and telling them how I met you because I had the balls to chase after you, how I fell in love with you the moment I kissed you that first time on the boardwalk, how you made me the happiest man alive when you agreed to marry me."
Her toes actually curled at that. A shiver tickled its way down her spine as the tip of his tongue swirled about the delicate, sensitive shell of her ear. "Steve..."
"I want to have a baby with you, Aislinn... Don't use your magic tonight. Let's see if we can hit the jackpot on the first try."
She peered at him over her shoulder. "What?"
He smiled, his eyes glinting in the candlelight. "I want us to have a baby, honey. A beautiful little black haired heart-breaker with beautiful green eyes like his mother..."
"Steve, wait... are you sure?"
"I'm sure, Ash. Christ, I've never been more sure of anything." He nuzzled her, whispering, "Let's make a baby, Princess."
She squeezed her eyes shut as he kissed the side of her neck again. It was such a big decision, such a big change, and she was beyond surprised to hear Steve whisper those words. "Are you really sure?"
