The Boardwalk Bar and Grill wasn't quite as crowded as it was the last time she was there, and as it was Saturday, there was a live band. When they first arrived, Tony disappeared for a few minutes and when he returned, he was very secretive about said disappearance.

But then the deejay put on John Lennon's Woman, and Aislinn's eyes stung as Steve brought her hand to his lips and then gave her arm a gentle tug. "Come on, baby. They're playing our song."

She melted into his arms, her smile impossible to hide. "Your brother is sneaky."

"I told him to do it. It might not exactly be a couple's song, Ash, but it is our song."

"Playing in the pizzeria on what I guess you'd call our first date."

"Unofficially our first date." He brushed her lips with his. "That was probably the best night of my life, Aislinn. I just didn't know it at the time."

"Me, neither. All I wanted was to go home. And you wouldn't let me."

"I was not about to let you get away. I'd spend the rest of my life kicking myself if I did."

She threaded her fingers through his hair, where it curled over his collar. They were really married. It was too hard to believe, actually. He was hers. She was his. Forever. So hard to believe that it was actually their reality now. Thank the gods.

"I'm so glad you didn't," she said softly, holding his gaze. His dark eyes were soft, more brown than amber in the low light, much like they looked that first night, when her life changed forever.

"You're not the only one." His hands skimmed down over her backside, where they curved against her to pull her closer. He leaned in to capture her lips in a slow, teasing kiss that made her head spin and her blood warmer, and when he pulled away, his voice was husky as he whispered, "Are you up to a traditional wedding night, Ash?"

"Oh, I think so. I definitely think so."

"Good, because I plan on loving you until you go mad from it, Mrs. Molinaro."

She shivered, both at the low, sexy growl of his voice and being called Mrs. Molinaro. It was so odd to think of herself as Mrs. Anything, but she did love how it sounded.

Smiling up at him, she let her fingernails graze his nape as she murmured, "Fair enough because I plan on doing the same to you, Mr. Molinaro."

"You want to go now, then?"

"Home?"

He shook his head. "I have one more surprise for you, honey."

"Steve, I don't know if I can take one more surprise."

"You'll like this one. I promise."

"Well, I've liked all the other ones, so I'm not surprised that I'll like this surprise as well."

His forehead furrowed. "What?"

"I know. I talked myself into a knot. I get it from my mom."

He smiled. "I think I'm going to like being married to you, Ash."

"I certainly hope so, since you're stuck with me."

"And there's no one else I'd rather be stuck with than you."

It was nearly midnight when they said goodbye to Tony and Kyra and once they were tucked away in the Denali, Steve leaned across the console to capture her lips in a slow, deep kiss. She parted her lips, sighing as his tongue caressed hers, and when he broke the kiss, it was to nuzzle her, whispering, "My wife," as he did.
