ELI POV
"Miss." Nagulat ako ng may humawak ng braso ko, paglingon ko yung lalaking nakasando. Hala siya.
"Uhm..bakit po?" Ako lang mag-isa ngayon, nakatayo ako sa labas ng C.R inaantay yung magkapatid.
"Kanina pa talaga kita gustong kausapin, but there's always someone who's interrupting us." I look at him with confusion
"Uhm owkay?.." "I'm Kleid." Inabot niya sa'kin ang kamay niya para makipag-shake hands. "Eli." Saad ko saka ko tinanggap ang kamay niya.
"I know it's impossible, but I'm interested of you the first time I saw you." He said straight-forwardly which shock me. "Can you let me know you more Eli?"
"I don't think so. 'Di kita kilala, you're a total stranger to me. How could you assure me na you're not harmful?" Pagkikilatis ko.
"Oh sorry if it creeps you out Eli, but I'm not lying. You caught my attention the first time I saw you. And I assure you I'm harmless." Nakikita ko naman yung sincerity sa mga mata niya & I can feel that he really wants to know me.
"I'll give you a chance." He let out a big sigh. He felt relieve.
"Do you really need to let out a big sigh?" I chuckle, I saw him blush.
"I'm just thankful na hinayaan mo ako na mas makilala ka." He then scratch the back of his head.
"I don't want to give you an assurance, para 'di ka umasa. I'll just give you a chance to know me. Hope you won't expect something for me." I honestly said.
"I know, but I'm serious 'bout this Eli. Seryoso ako sa'yo." I just smile at him.
"ELI! TARA NA-- oh....." Napatigil si ate Rish sa pagsasalita ng makita niya si Kleid. Lumapit agad sila sa pwesto namin at tiningnan nila ako with a questioning look.
"Hi." Bati agad ni Kleid sa kanila. Akala ko magiging mahiyain siya.. guess not. "I'm Kleid by the way. I'm interested with Eli & I'll do anything, everything for her to trust me fully." Napatingin agad ako sa kanya. He really is serious.
"Uhm.... okay?" "Sige po mauna na 'ko sa inyo, Eli see you around. I'll call you later." I nodded as he walk away from us. Tinignan naman ako ng nakakaloko ng dalawa kong pinsan.
"ELI! OMG! Ano 'yon? Kayo na?!" "Sira, hindi. He just said that he's interested to me & he want to know me more. Pinayagan ko naman."
"Pa'no si Claude?" Tinignan ko siya ng masama. "Okay okay ang O.A mo. Nagtatanong lang eh." "It's not his business to mendle. It's my life anyway, I can do what I want." I coldly said.

CLAUDE POV
It's been 2 years since I met her, my best friend. She became my shoulder when I need someone to lean on. She's my handkerchief whenever I'm sad. She's my pillow whenever I'm tired living my life. Eli became my everything.. and most importantly.. she become the most special girl in my heart. I just realize that I fell in love for my best friend when I saw her cry for the 3rd time around. I just felt that I want to protect her & love her more than a best friend. I want her to be mine & only mine. I maybe selfish, but I'll do everything for her to love me back. And I'm starting now..

"MIGZ!" Napalingon agad ako sa nagtawag sa'kin & to my disappointment it's not her.
"Jusko, iba na naman ang in-expect." Saad ni Kin, pinsan ni Eli. "Anyway may balita ako sa'yo, it's about Eli.. and a new guy." That's right, kakontsaba ko 'tong si Kin. She volunteer that she'll help me with her cousin.
"New guy? Don't tell me?.." She nodded, she knows what I meant. "Last week nung nasa riverbanks kami. A random guy just ask a permission to Eli if she would let him know her more, & Eli agreed." Damn it, masyado na ba akong late? Napansin ni Kin ang pagbago ng mood ko. "Huy ano ka ba, getting-to-know stage pa lang naman sila. Actually at first Eli was having a second thought 'bout it, pinagbigyan niya lang yung guy kasi mukhang sincere talaga ee. Kaya ikaw diyan, gumawa ka na ng move. Bago pa ma-fall si Eli sa iba." Am I that too late?
