Chapter 5

Emma woke up to her alarm and started getting ready for the day. When she was all ready she looked at her phone and saw she had a text from Graham.

Graham -Good Morning, Beautiful.

Emma blushed and sent him a text.

Emma -Good Morning.

Graham -I'll pick up the coffees today.

Emma -Remember to pick up three now.

Graham -Got it.

Emma -See you soon.

Emma looked at the time and it was 7:45am. Emma walked out of her apartment and into her car. She started her car and drove to the station. When she got to the station she walked in and saw Graham sitting at his desk.

Graham heard Emma and looked up and said, "Hello, Beautiful."

Emma blushed and walked over to Graham. Graham stood up from his desk and kissed her. Graham then gave Emma her coffee and she walked over to her desk.

The door to the station opened and Killian walked in.

"Good Morning." Killian said.

"Good Morning, here's your coffee." Graham said handing Killian his coffee.

"Thanks." Killian said taking his coffee.

He walked over to his desk and sat down. Graham walked over to him and was showing him what he had to do.

Emma finished her coffee and walked over to Killian and Graham.

"I'm going out to check for speeders." Emma said to them both.

"Ok, we'll be here." Graham said.

Emma walked out of the station and into the police car. She drove to her favorite spot to check for speeders and parked. She got the Radar gun out and set it up. She sat there and thought about Graham.

How is it going to be with me dating Graham at work?

She pondered that question for a long time. She forgot about that question and thought of something else.

What should I wear to our date tonight? O, I'll wear that black dress that I have.

Emma was driving back to the station after not catching anyone speeding. It was 1:14.

She decided that she would go to Granny's and pick up lunch for Graham and Killian. She texted Graham to let him know.

Emma -I'm going to go to Granny's and pick up lunch for you guys what do you want?

Graham -I would like a Grilled Cheese with fries.

Emma -Ok I'll be at the station after I grab it.

Graham -Ok, Beautiful.

Emma got to Granny's and parked the car. She walked in and told Granny she needed 2 Grilled Cheeses, 1 Club Sandwich, 2 orders of Fries, and 1 order of Onion Rings. Granny went to the back and started to make it. Next thing Emma knew the food was done and she was heading back to the station. She got to the station and walked in.

"Hey, Beautiful." Graham said when she walked in.

Emma put the food on his desk and started pulling it out. She grabbed Killian's sandwich and fries out and gave it to him. She then got Graham's Grilled Cheese and fries out and gave it to him.

"Thanks, Love." Killian said grabbing his food and carrying it back to his desk.

Emma looked at him shocked and then quickly ignored the fact that he just called her Love. She grabbed her food and carried it to her desk and ate it. When she was done she looked up at the clock and it read 2:59. She got on her computer and started doing some work. By the time she was done it was already 5:14. She grabbed her keys and got up from her desk.

She walked over to Graham's desk and said, "45 minutes."

Graham got up from his desk and grabbed his keys, too. Emma realized that Killian already left.

Graham and her walked out of the station. Graham walked Emma to her car and kissed her on the cheek.

"See you in a few." Graham said.

Emma smiled and got into her car. She drove home and parked her car. When she got into her apartment she walked straight to her bedroom and grabbed the black dress out of her closet. She lied it on the bed and got ready for her date.
