Chapter 46

Emma and Morgan walked into the office of the school first.

"I'm here to see Ms. Blanchard." Emma said.

"Go ahead." the secretary told them.

Emma and Morgan walked out of the office and to Mary's room.

When they got there Emma saw Mary at her desk grading some papers. Emma slightly knocked on the open door and walked in with Morgan.

"Hey, Emma." Mary said looking up from her papers. Mary spotted Morgan and gave a confused look to Emma. "Who's that?"

"Well, that's Killian's daughter." Emma said looking back at Morgan who was still at the door.

"What?!" Mary said.

"Killian didn't know about her till a few days ago. His ex dropped her off and she is staying here for a month." Emma said smiling and turning back to Mary.

"Wait so, Killian? Killian? Has a daughter?" Mary said still confused.

"Yes, Mary. Her name is Morgan Long." Emma said annoyed at the fact that Mary is still not getting it.

"So, Killian?" Mary said once more.

"What the hell Mary! Yes!" Emma yelled. Emma quickly looked back at Morgan and said, "Sorry." Emma realized she had cursed and Morgan was standing right there. Emma then looked back at Mary and said, "Okay. We were wondering if you could watch her for a little bit tonight. Spend time with her. Have fun."

"Umm, sure." Mary said.

"3 to 8." Emma said uneasy.

"Sure. David is not sick anymore so that would be fine. She can play with Neal, too." Mary said.

"Who's David? Who's Neal?" Morgan said.

"David is my husband and Neal is my son. He's only 1 year old but I think you'll love him." Mary said.

Morgan nodded and Mary focused on Emma again.

"Okay, so... We'll pick her up at your place." Emma said.

"That would be good." Mary said nodding.

"Great!" Emma clapped her hands together walked towards Morgan.

"Morgan, Mary is my best friend. I wouldn't leave you with someone I don't trust. You will be okay with her." Emma says as she walks Morgan over to Mary.

Morgan nods her head and then looks at Mary.

"Hello, Morgan." Mary said.

"Hi" Morgan replies.

"Okay, I have to go. I hope you two have a wonderful time." Emma said as she walked out of her classroom.

Emma walked through the school and waved at the secretary as she left. She got into her car and drove back to the station.

When she got to the station she walked in and Killian was at his desk.

"You ready?" Emma asked before Killian even knew she was there.

Killian looked up and said, "Ready"

He got up from his desk and walked out of the station with Emma. They both got into Emma's bug and drove to Dr. Hopper's.

When they got there Emma looked over to Killian in the passenger seat and smiled.

"You ready, Love?" Killian asked.

Emma nodded and they both walked out of the car and into the office. Dr. Hopper saw them and smiled.

"Splendid! Have a seat." Dr. Hopper said as he got up from his desk to sit in the middle of the room. They all sit down and Dr. Hopper asks, "This is Killian?"

"Yep, Killian Jones." Killian says as he holds out his hand.

Dr. Hopper takes it and they shake hands.

"So, Emma did anything happen?" Dr. Hopper asked.

"Well, nothing really. Oh, I introduced Mary to Morgan. Morgan is with her right now." Emma said smiling.

"That's nice." Dr. Hopper said. He then turned to Killian and asked him. "Did anything happen with you?"

"Umm, while Emma was dropping Morgan off I continued on signing some of the custody papers." Killian said.

"That's good. I'm glad you are fighting for her." Dr. Hopper says. "Emma, did you read any?"

"Dang it. I didn't." Emma said.

"That's okay. You don't have to read every night." Dr. Hopper said laughing. When he was done laughing he looked at Killian and said, "So about yesterday."

"Ya?" Killian asked.

"I'm happy that Emma has someone like you that stops her depression from setting in. I'm glad that you comforted her when she felt like she wasn't worth living." Dr. Hopper said.

"I am, too." Killian said.

"Emma needs someone like you in her life to stop the depression." Dr. Hopper says.

Killian nods his head and looks at Emma. She had two tears rolling down her face. Killian wipes them off her face with his thumbs and smiles at her. She smiles, too.

"I want you to come back tomorrow." Dr. Hopper said to Killian.

"Okay" Killian said looking to Dr. Hopper.

Dr. Hopper looked up at the clock and it read 5:42pm.

"You guys can go." Dr. Hopper says. "Remember Killian. Tomorrow."

Killian nods and the couple walk out of the office. They get in Emma's bug and Emma drives to Killian's house.
