Chapter 42

After Emma watched a movie with Killian and Morgan she left to go home. When she got home she opened her book and only read 2 pages because she was falling asleep. She put a slip of paper in the book and grabbed a notepad and pen. She wrote down her schedule for tomorrow.

•Funeral Home
•Florist
•Work(for as long as I can)
•Dr. Hopper's

She put the note on the counter and got ready for bed.

When she was ready for bed she set her alarm and then fell into bed.

Emma woke up to her alarm and started getting ready for the day. She ended up wearing a gray top and a pair of jeans.

When she was all ready she pulled out her phone and texted Killian.

Emma - I'm not going to be in for a little while because I'm going to the funeral home and florist today for Graham.

Killian - Ok

Emma grabbed her brown leather jacket and car keys and headed to Granny's Inn.

When she got there she walked to room 29 and knocked on the door. Lacy opened the door with a warm smile.

"I'm going to the funeral home and florist today to schedule everything." Emma said.

"Good I was going to ask you about that today. Can I come with?" Lacy asked.

"Ya, let's go." Emma said walking away from the room.

Lacy followed her and out to Emma's car. They both got in and headed to Frank's Funeral Home.

When they got there they stepped out and walked into the home. Emma was planning on holding back all of her tears today.

Lacy and Emma walked out of the funeral home and got into the car. Emma wipped away the tears from her face and began to drive. She told herself she won't cry but she couldn't hold them in. Lacy didn't cry as much as Emma and Emma felt weak.

Emma arrived at the flower shop and parked the car. They both walked in and smelled flowers. Emma was planning on not crying again.

Emma and Lacy were now driving back to Granny's Inn after they figured out the funeral and flowers.

Emma dropped Lacy off at the Inn and drove to the station. She began to cry after she dropped Lacy off.

When she got to the station she wipped away her tears and stayed in the car. She didn't want Morgan to see her like this. She grabbed the make-up bag out of her glove box and put a little foundation on. She looked in the mirror and it didn't really help. She stuffed the make-up back in the glove box and grabbed a pair of sunglasses. She put them on and thought she looked okay. She then walked into the station and sat over at her desk without looking up or saying hi to Killian or Morgan. She turned on her computer and waited for it to turn completely on. Someone grabbed her upper arm and pulled her out of her seat. She found out it was Killian by the shoes he was wearing. He walked her to the storage closet and shut the door.

"Emma" Killian said now with both of his hands on Emma's upper arms. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing" Emma said looking down.

"Why are you wearing sunglasses inside?!" Killian said taking off her sunglasses. Emma whimpered and Killian lifted her face up. "Emma, what's wrong?"

"I already told you, nothing." Emma said.

"Emma"

"I'm fine." Emma said.

"Bloody Hell, Swan! What's wrong?" Killian yelled.

"It's just all the emotions right now! Graham died and now I have to plan his funeral! I have depression! Morgan is here, too! I don't want her to see me like this! I don't want anyone to see me like this!" Emma erupted with cries.

Tears were now flooding down her face and she couldn't stop them. She didn't want to be here. She thought it was just better if she just went away all together. She just wanted to crawl into a hole and cry.

"Emma, it's okay. We're here for you. Mary and Red are here for you. Lacy is here for you. Dr. Hopper is here for you." Killian said lifting Emma's face. "It's okay."

"No, it's not." Emma said.

"Yes it is, Love. I'm here for you." Killian said wrapping his arms around Emma. Emma's tears kept coming and she cried into his shoulder. "It's going to be okay." Killian rubbed Emma's back and tried to comfort her. "It's okay."
