Chapter 43

Emma picks up her head and looks at Killian.

Killian wipes away her tears and says, "It's going to be alright, Love." Emma nods her head. "Why don't you go see Dr. Hopper. It's about that time anyway."

Emma nods again and Killian opens the door. Emma and Killian walk out and Morgan is sitting in a chair next to Killian's desk.

"Are you okay Emma?" Morgan says looking concerned.

"I'm fine." Emma says. She walks over to Morgan and kneels next to her chair. "I'm fine."

Morgan hugs her and whispers, "I heard the whole conversation. I'm so sorry, Emma."

"It's okay." Emma said.

"Who's Graham?" Morgan asks.

"Emma why don't you leave and I'll talk to Morgan." Killian says.

Emma nods and grabs her keys and heads out. She gets in her car and heads to Dr. Hopper's.

When she gets there she walks in and sits down.

"Emma, are you okay? Your here a half an hour early?" Dr. Hopper says. Dr. Hopper sees the redness on her face and grows more concerned. "Emma, is everything alright?"

"I felt like killing myself today." Emma says.

"Emma"

"I didn't cut." Emma adds.

"Emma what happened."

"I was planning the funeral for Graham and planning all of the flowers today and I couldn't hold back the tears. Lacy was with me the whole time. But after I dropped her back off at the Inn I lost it. I couldn't stop the tears streaming down my face this time. All I could think about was Graham. When I made it to the station I couldn't go inside looking like what I looked like. Morgan was in there and I didn't want her to see me like that. I tried to cover it up but I couldn't so I put a pair of sunglasses on and it helped. I walked in and went straight to my desk. Then Killian grabbed me and pulled me into the storage closet. He asked me what was wrong and I said nothing. He kept asking me and asking me and I gave him the same response. Then I just yelled it out. I yelled that I had all of these emotions. That I had Graham's death. I had depression. And that Morgan was there, too. I told him I didn't want her to see me like that. I told him I didn't want anyone to see me like that. I wanted to kill myself for sure right then and there. But he told me everyone was here for me. He told me everything was all right. I calmed down and he told me to come see you."

"Emma, you have to take steps and breath. You can't just rush. You have to accept things. Emma he was right we are all here for you and everything is going to be all right." Dr. Hopper said.

"I'm okay now." Emma said wiping the tears away from her face.

"Did anything good happen?"

"Well, Killian is fighting for Morgan. He wants custody of her." Emma said.

"That is fantastic!" Dr. Hopper said.

"I'm so proud of him." Emma said.

"I am, too." Dr. Hopper said.

"Oh, ummm...Morgan heard the whole conversation that me and Killian had." Emma said.

"What did she say?" Dr. Hopper asked.

"She asked me about Graham but Killian told me to go and he would talk to her." Emma said fiddling with her thumbs.

Dr. Hopper nodded and then said, "I want you to bring Killian in with you tomorrow."

"Morgan?" Emma asked.

"No, I just want you two." Dr. Hopper said. Emma nodded and played with her thumbs again. "I'm glad you came early today and talked to me about this. You can go since you came early." Emma nodded again and got up from her seat. "Remember to bring Killian."

Emma nodded once more and walked out of his office. She got in her car and pulled out her phone.

Emma - I want to come over.

Killian - Okay

Emma - I'm going to stop at my place first.

Killian - Okay

Emma drove to her apartment and walked in to the building. She walked up to her floor and then walked into her apartment. She walked to her bedroom and grabbed a bag then she grabbed a pair of pajamas and an outfit for tomorrow. She then grabbed a hair brush and a toothbrush. She stuffed everything in the bag and walked back out of her apartment. She walked down to her car and got in. She started it up and drove to Killian's.
