Chapter 48

Emma wakes up to her alarm and realised it's Saturday. She shut the alarm off and through her phone at the wall. She grunted loudly and then fell back to sleep.

Emma woke up and stretched acrossed her bed. She got out of her bed and picked her phone up from the floor. She let out a sigh of relief when she saw her phone without cracks. She saw that she had a text from Killian.

Killian - Morgan and I are going to the movies. Wondering if you want to go.

She looked at the time and it was 3 minutes ago. She texted him back.

Emma - I would love to. I'll be over in 20 minutes.

Killian - Okay. See you.

Emma started getting ready for the day. She ended up wearing a pink sweater and a pair of jeans. She grabbed her keys and her brown leather jacket on her way out of her apartment. She walked down the stairs and outside. She got into her bug and drove to Killian's.

When she got to Killian's she walked up to the door and knocked. Killian opened the door and let her in. They talked for a few minutes then they all left for the movies.

Emma, Killian, and Morgan walked back into the house and plopped on the couch. Emma looked at her phone and the time read 3:10pm. Emma gets up from the couch along with Killian and Morgan. They all walk out of the house again and into Emma's car. Emma drove to Mary's and dropped off Morgan and then drove to Dr. Hopper's.

When she got to Dr. Hopper's she parked her car and looked at Killian.

"I love you." Emma said holding back tears.

"I love you, too." Killian said. He noticed her eyes getting watery and said, "What's wrong, Love?"

"I don't want to lose you like I lost Graham. I'm trying to make every moment count." Emma said.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm a survivor." Killian said.

Emma nodded and then got out of the car. Killian followed her into Dr. Hopper's office.

"Have a seat, guys." Dr. Hopper said when he saw Killian and Emma. They both sat down and started the meeting. "Anything happen?"

"Just went to the movies. That's all." Emma said.

"That's nice." Dr. Hopper said. "Read any?"

"No" Emma said upset.

"That's okay." Dr. Hopper said. "Killian, how are you doing?"

"I'm good." Killian said.

"That's good." Dr. Hopper said. "I just want Emma to come on Monday." Killian nodded and grabbed Emma's hand. "I know this was really fast but you guys can go. It's 4:04."

Emma smiled and said goodbye. She walked out of the office with Killian hand and hand. They got into the car and Emma drove to her apartment.

When they got there Emma and Killian walked into her apartment and sat on the couch.

"How are you doing?" Killian asked Emma.

"I'm fine." Emma said as she rested her head on his shoulder.

"I love you." Killian said stroking Emma's hair.

"I love you, too." Emma said.

She then fell asleep to the beat of Killian's heartbeat.
