Chapter 34

Emma woke up and moved her body to look at Killian. He was sound a sleep. She loved how cute he looked when he was a sleep. She looked over at the clock and it read 9:07am. Emma quickly got out of bed and ran to her closet. She through on a tanktop and jeans and then ran to the bathroom. She brushed her hair and teeth and then ran back out of the bathroom.

"Swan? What's the big rush?" Killian said as he woke up.

"We're late for work!" Emma yelled as she ran out of the bedroom.

"Why didn't you wake me!" Killian yelled as he got out of bed. "I need to go home first!"

"I'm leaving! I'll see you at the station!" Emma yelled as she ran out the door slamming it behind her.

She ran down the building stairs and outside. She quickly got into her car and drove to the station. When she got there she parked her car and ran into the station. She thought, I'm so happy Regina didn't see me.

She pulled out her phone and texted Killian.

Emma - No Coffee today!

Killian - I'll pick some up.

Emma - No! Regina might see you and you might get fired for being late.

Killian - I thought she was nice?

Emma - When it comes to work and the police, she isn't so nice. If your late or do something wrong she just might fire you.

Killian - Ok, got it I'm at my place about to head to the station.

Emma - Ok, hurry up.

Killian - Got it.

Emma put her phone down and walked over to desk she started her computer up and waited for it to come on. She heard someone open the door and thought, Killian couldn't be that fast? Shit, it's Regina!

Emma quickly got up from her desk. Lacy walked through the door and Emma let out a sigh of relief.

"Hello, Emma." Lacy said.

"Hello" Emma replied.

"Is there anything to do around here? Like for fun? To past time?" Lacy asked.

"Umm, let me see." Emma thought for a moment then said, "Well, you could go to the beach, there is a library in the center of town, there's a park, there's little shops everywhere, and there is always Granny's."

"Thanks Emma." Lacy said walking to the door.

"Your Welcome, Ms. Humbert." Emma said.

"You can call me Lacy." Lacy said.

Emma nodded and then Killian walked in. He greeted Lacy and then Lacy left.

Killian walked up to Emma and said, "Anything happen when I was gone?"

"Well I started panicking when the door open right after you texted me, but it was just Lacy." Emma said.

"That's good." Killian said walking over to his desk.

Emma sat back down and started her work for the day.

Emma looked up at the clock and it read 3:04pm. She decided to leave a little earlier and got up from her desk. She grabbed her keys and told Killian goodbye. She got into her car and started driving to Dr. Hopper's office.
