Chapter 29

Emma passes the 'Leaving StoryBrooke' sign as she drove out of town. Her phone started ringing and she picked it up from the passenger seat. She answered it and Killian spoke.

"Swan?" Killian said sort of concerned.

"Ya, What?" Emma said.

"Ummm, your friends are here and they keep banging on the door and saying 'Happy Birthday'." Killian whispered sounding scared.

Shit. Once again, forgot that it's my birthday.

"I'll call them." Emma said laughing.

"Ok, bye."

"Bye." Then Emma hung up. She clicked on Mary's contact and started to call her. Mary picked up on the first ring.

"Let us in you fool!" Mary screamed through the phone.

"I'm not home." Emma said laughing.

"What?!" Mary and Red both said in unison.

"Graham's mother called me and asked me to help with his funeral. I'm on my way to Pinny, Maine right now." Emma said.

"It's your Birthday!" Red yelled.

"I know, I know. I just wanted to help her. It looks like Graham doesn't have to many relatives still alive."

"Uggghhh! When are you going to be home?" Mary asked.

"Probably somewhere from 12 to 2. I'll call you when I'm home." Emma said.

"Ok!" Mary squealed. There was a silence over the phone intill Mary screamed, "Emma! There's someone in your house!"

Fuckkkkk! I didn't tell them about Killian yet. Uggghhh.

"Calm down. It's just...Killian." Emma said quietly.

"Why is he in your house?" Mary said suspicious.

"Ummm. Ya, about that." Emma said uneasy.

"Are you?" Red asked.

"Omg! You are aren't you!" Mary blurted out.

"Yes...I am...Don't bother him, though." Emma said annoyed. Emma heard some knock on the door and she slammed her hand on the top of the steering wheel. "What did I just say!"

"Killian! Emma said you can let us in!" she heard Mary yell.

Emma rolled her eyes and yelled, "Mary!"

Emma heard Killian answer the door and say, "Ummm, Hi?"

"Shut the door Killian! Don't let them in!" Emma screamed through the phone, knowing that she was on speaker phone.

Mary ended the call and Emma banged her hand of the steering wheel again. Emma quickly called Killian and waited for him to pick up. He picked up at the first ring.

"Emma, they pushed theirselves into the apartment."

"Uggggghhhhhh! They are going to ask you a lot of questions. Wait! I got an idea. Leave me on speaker phone and let me here what she asks you. We can both answer together." Emma said.

"Ok." Killian said uneasy. Then she heard Killian say to Mary and Red, "Emma wants us both to answer, I guess, your questions?"

"Ok. So How long have you two been together?" Mary asked.

"Not long at all!" Emma screamed through the phone making sure Mary could here her.

"Hmmmm. Did you guys have a thing when Emma was with Graham." Mary asked.

Ummmmm. Should I...Nope!

Emma quickly answered so Killian could say something else.

"Nope!" Emma yelled through the phone.

"Okay...Did you guys have sex yet?" Mary asked.

"Woah! Woah! Woah! To far! To far!" Emma screamed wanting to jump through the phone and choke Mary.

"I'll take that as a yes." Mary said.

"Could we please stop! Can you just wait till I come home!" Emma screamed.

"Fine." Mary said frustrated.

"Please get out of my apartment." Emma said.

"Fine." Mary said.

There was a long silence till Emma heard Killian's voice again.

"They're gone." Killian said.

"Did you lock the door?" Emma asked.

"Ummm...Ya, why?" Killian said confused.

"Because they will come back and try to get in or something." Emma said exhausted from screaming during the latest scene.

"Should I be scared?"

"No. Just don't pay any attention to them."

"Ok."

"Ok. I'm going to go." Emma said.

"Bye, Love." Killian said.

"Bye." Emma said then hung up.

She through her phone on the passenger seat and passed a sign that said 'Pinny-39miles'. She sighed and turned on the radio.
