Chapter 11: Emotion

My heart was pounding and I finally showed fear. I wasn't going to let her hurt Rey. My body felt numb. As drained as I was, I will use whatever energy I have left to keep her away from Rey. I could feel all her anger and she was screaming but I wasn't listening. I closed my eyes and I tried to relax. I subdued my anger and pain and I used all my strength left and I forced my sister against the wall and away Rey. "Stay away from her" I spoke sternly. My sister got back up and drew her lightsaber to my neck. I was breathing slow. "DO NOT USE THE FORCE ON ME" She yelled.

I felt her black leather gloves across my face over and over and over. I was spitting out blood. I wasn't sure if I could take the beatings anymore. "YOU LEFT ME! I TOOK CARE OF YOU AND YOU LEFT ME! EVEN AFTER OUR PARENTS DIED, I WAS THE ONE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU! YOU TRAITOR!" She screamed and kept hitting me. She was taking all her anger out on me. I could feel so much pain and anger. So much. I couldn't handle it. She was still screaming at me but I couldn't hear her anymore. Everything went black. I was in my own head now. "You must stay strong" I heard Rey speak softly before I passed out.

"Stay with me!" I heard my sister yell as I layed on the bed. Sweat poured from my face and my fever spiked. I could hear the villagers scream outside and my sister grabbed her lightsaber and stayed by my bed. I turned my head and saw the man with the mask approach my sister. She ignited her lightsaber. "I don't mean any harm" He spoke calmly. "Yeah right!" My sister yelled. "I can help your sister" He spoke again. I couldn't breath. I grabbed my sisters hand with the little energy I have left. She turned to me. "I love you" I spoke so quietly. "No, stay with me!" She yelled, immediantly picked me up. Everything went dark.

I jolted awake, breathing heavy. I looked around, everything destroyed. Rey was gone. I was alone. I felt the pain all over my body. I felt anger took over my mind. I screamed and crushed everything in sight. "Alexia, I'll come for you" I heard her in my mind. I felt tears fall down my face. It was all my fault. All of it. She didn't deserve any of this. We both knew what we have to do. Keep them away from Luke.

I could sense Kylo. He walked in. "I know how afraid you are" He spoke. He took off his helmet and sat it on the table. "I'm not afraid of you. You don't scare me." I mumbled. He brought his hand to my face.

Luke came up to me after training  "Alexia you must be patient" He spoke calmly. "I know, I know. I'm sorry Master" I mumbled with my head low. "What troubles you?" He asked me. "I sense something wrong with Ben. He doesn't seem- okay" I spoke quietly. "I've felt it too. He needs guidance. He struggles internally" He spoke calmly before giving me a warm smile. "That's enough training for today, we will start again, early in the morning" He said before walking away. I walked into my small room and began to think. I wanted to help him. I wanted to know what was troubling him.

She had been back for a while after her first mission. She hadn't spoken to me yet. Luke brought me away from her. She was too angry. Suddenly I heard her call out to me. "ALEXIA!" Kya screamed. I could hear the hurt in her voice. I quickly ran to her. She had dirt and small wounds all over her. "They're dead" She said and I could see the tears form in her eyes. "Wh- what?" My heart broke. My dreams came true. I coughed a little bit, blood appearing on my hands. "I watched them die. The Jedi, they let them die!" She yelled. I could feel her anger, her pain. In my dreams I saw otherwise. Maybe she saw it differently. I felt warm tears fall and I embrace my sister. "We've got each other....don't leave me" I mumbled. I let her go and I started coughing again. This time with a lot more blood. "Alexia?! Alexia what's wrong?!" I heard her voice break as she held me. I passed out.

The tears fell once more. "Ben!" I turned my head away from his and he forced my to look at him. I looked into his dark eyes. "You're so lost. I can see it. So much pain in your eyes. So much guilt." I mumbled. He brought his hand to my face and hit me. My face throbbing. He angrily left the room. I have to be strong for Rey, for Luke.
