I layed down in the small room. I was so happy so see my old master, my friend. Him, Kya, and Ben were the only people I was attached to in any way. Especially my sister and Luke. I always felt a connection with him. One I didn't have with anyone else. A special bond. A strong force bond but different then one I have with Kya. I could never figure out what it was but no matter what, it was there.
Rey came to the small room and sat next to where I was laying. "We will be safe here and we can continue training tomorrow. Master Luke will be very helpful" She spoke, laying a hand on my shoulder. I sat up and I gave her a tight hug. I was so thankful to be here. "Thank you" I mumbled and held her tight, "Thank you for bringing me here" I mumbled again and we hugged for a while. She smiled and we let go of each other.
"We've got a big day tomorrow" She spoke softly as she dressed down, ready for sleep. "Let's just hope I'm ready.." I looked down as I played with my hands. She held my face with her hands. "You were born for greatness. You are always ready" She reassured me. She crawled into bed next to me and I held her close. Rey fell asleep rather quickly, she was exaughsted. I slowly drifted to sleep.
--- Few Hours Later ---
I jolted awake. This time, not from nightmares. I could sense Lukes sadness. It was late. What was he doing awake? I got up, making sure not to wake Rey. I looked around the small temple and eventually made my way outside. He was standing on the rocks in front of the temple. "Master Luke?" I walked up next to him. "It's late, what are you doing awake?" I asked looking at the older man. "I don't sleep much, young one" He spoke calmly, starring at all the stars in the sky.
"Please, tell me what's wrong. I can sense it." I mumbled. He stayed silent for a while. "What happened with your sister?" He asked, dodging my want to know what's wrong. "She didn't want me to die. I got really sick, and she traded her life for mine. She joined Ben and left me." I spoke, uneasy about the memories. "I wouldn't join them, so I ran. And I kept running. And then I went looking for Kya. I thought she was dead. Until she told me what happened, I spent 2 years looking for her and running from the First Order" I began to explain. "Why did you and your sister run away?" He asked. I could hear the pain in his voice. I couldn't fully understand why it hurt him. "I couldn't leave her on her own. We always stuck together" I spoke, my head hanging low. "I never broke the bond." I mumbled. "I always hoped that maybe you'd come looking for me. In the back of my mind. I'd hope I'd hear you again" I said, almost a whisper. "I know we're not supposed to get attached and I don't fully understand why, but I was more attached to you then my own parents." I mumbled and he looked at me. I felt like he knew something and he wasn't telling me. He stayed quiet.
"You need to rest, I'll be training you tomorrow" He spoke calmly. Before I walked back, I gave him a hug. It has been so long and miserable without his guidance. I began to walk back and lay back in bed. Rey was sound asleep. She looked so peaceful. I kissed her cheek before laying back down. "Alexia?" I heard her whisper. "Are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?" She asked turning to face me. "I'm okay" I mumbled. "I Uh- I love you. I thought I'd tell you" I spoke softly and kissed her gently. "I love you too" She replied with a smile. She held me close and we fell asleep.
-----
"This is home now" my sister spoke to me, holding my hand. "I have to train with Master Luke tomorrow so you won't see me in the morning, okay?" She spoke and I nodded.
******
I was training. Clashing lightsabers with my master. "Patience, young one" He spoke as we fought. Of course he was more powerful then me but I was getting stronger with his training. "You mustn't always strike first. Wait for the right time" He spoke and I obeyed. "Good work!" He said, beaming with my success.
*****
Luke held me back as I watched my sister run out the door to fight in the battle with my parents. "No, no, I have to keep you safe, young one." Luke spoke holding me so I couldn't follow my sister. I don't know what was happening but I could feel my sisters pain. I could feel her anger rising. As a child it scared me, these feelings. My sister walked in and I could see the trauma and anger and sadness on her face.
------
I woke up, nearly falling off the bed, covered in cold sweat. I didn't know where I was and I could feel all that pain all over again. "Alexia, Alexia, I'm here it's Rey." I looked around and my heart was pounding. She picked me up gently and looked in my eyes. "I'm here, you're okay" She spoke softly. I was still out of it. I could feel my sisters pain. Her dreams. They haunted me too. "Luke!" I heard Rey yell. I looked at her, blank expression on my face. All my feelings showed in my eyes. I heard another voice, "Alexia" my head shot up. "I can feel her pain m" I whispered. Luke pulled me into a hug and I began to cry. I was back into reality. "Shhh, I'll keep you safe" He spoke calmly. Those same words from my dreams. I have to keep you safe.
--- Few Hours Later ---
I didn't tell them about the dream. Luke doesn't know of any of the dreams I've been having. Not the ones of him or my sister. "Come, young one, we must get you trained." He spoke. I didn't know if I should tell him about my dreams.
We began to train but I wasn't focused. "Focus" He spoke. I kept going. I kept remembering everything, all the pain and anger I had built up. "Alexia! Alexia!" I dropped my lightsaber and looked around. "Wh-" I stopped and I looked around. Everything was split in half, by my hand. "I- I'm sorry" I spoke softly. "What are you not telling me?" He asked, concern plastered all over his face. "These dreams. About you and Kya. They're consuming me" I mumbled. "You take me and my sister away from a destroyed village. You held me back from battle and my sister went. Why did you do that? I don't understand" I mumbled. "Alexia, there's a lot you don't know" He looked down before sharing a look with Rey then back at me. "Sit" He mumbled.
He told me everything.
