"-and then I found out she was my sister" Luke and I laughed as he continued driving the ship slowly to Tatooine. I sat next to him, head in my hands listening to his exciting adventures. I stretched my arms out, we've been going for hours now and both of us were tired. The planet loomed before us and we finally came down to land. This of course wasn't out final destination, but we needed food, water and some rest.
I thought about Alexia. Luke kept telling me not to worry, he knew her better than anyone, but something was boiling in the pit of my stomach and I couldn't shake it off. We descended slowly onto the beautiful planet. "Was is hard?" I asked, looking up at Luke who seemed focused on what was infront of us.
"Hmm?" His eyes looked at me sideways.
"To kill Darth- Ana- your father... Was it hard?" He paused for a moment and I stated at him intently.
"If you're asking if it will be hard for Alexia to eventually kill Kya, yes. It's the hardest thing I ever had to do, because you want so badly for them to realize that they're wrong, but in some instances... They're too far gone" Luke, for some reason, was always able to tell exactly why I'd ask him a question. He was truly an extraordinary man. "If anything ever happens to me, Rey. You must look out for her, she is strong but holds a power in her that is inescapable" I nodded, and the ship finally landed on the ground.
It took us a moment to gather up the little bit of stuff we had, not much. Some of Alexia's stuff I refused to leave behind. Luke gripped my shoulder lightly, giving me the best smile he could and for some reason, I felt like things were going to be okay.
Luke suddenly snapped his head to the side, noticing the faint, red, pulsating light on a small device next to us. "Oh god..." He whispered, walking up to it and grabbing it off the wall. I looked down at it, and then at Lukes shocked face. "How could I not..."
"YOU ARE SURROUNDED" we suddenly heard a voice speak loudly from the outside. A tracking device, planted by who could've only been Kya... And they sat here waiting for us the whole time. "EXIT THE SHIP IMMEDIATELY" I looked at Luke, and he stared at me, knowing there was no other option. Kya, no doubt, was one step ahead of us, and her abilities were developing at an alarming rate.
Luke walked to the bridge, and looked around. We were surrounded by several other ships, and an army of storm troopers. He shook his head. "EXIT IMMEDIATELY" the voice boomed again.
"I'm sorry Rey" he breathed, the doors opened and we were captured, arrested and put on the brig of their large ship and transported once again to that horrible place I once knew. What I feared most, is now they had what they've been after for so long. Luke Skywalker.
-------
The bag was lifted off my head and I was suddenly in a holding cell familiar to the one I was when I came here the first time. How could I be so stupid to not check the ship first? Now I bring myself and Luke here. I was restrained, and I stared at the ceiling, holding back angry tears. I felt a presence. No.., it couldn't be.
My thoughts were interrupted by the beautiful, terrifying Kya, ripping off her mask immoderately as she came to face me. She was much different than the first time I met her, and her very presence gave me chills. I looked at her lips first. A firm, flat line, three scars stretching from her jaw bone to her hollow cheeks. No denying she was beautiful, it hid the evil within her soul. It was then I noticed her ominous yellow eyes... defined by the deep scar on her right eye, all but making her glare bone chilling. She had changed, and now she was too far gone.
"What do you want?" I spoke through my teeth, not able to look into the haunting brightness of her eyes.
"Absolutely nothing, you're not here for me." She breathed, even her once soft voice was cold as her black heart. She circled around me, slowly. Every footstep made my spine cringe. "No no, I have everything I want now. Power, strength, Luke Skywalker... Alexia.." My head snapped up and I looked at her, a smirk lining her defined face.
"Wha-" she brought her hand, steel knuckles lined her gloves and I spat up blood onto the floor.
"DO NOT SPEAK." She screamed, I glared hard into her eyes now. "Alexia came to me begging for refuge. She's been learning the ways of the dark side of the force. Though, I can't trust her completely yet can I, she claimed to kill you and Luke, yet here you are" My eyebrows furrowed and she chuckled.
"Oh she didn't tell you? I guess she didn't love you as much as you thought" I felt the hot tears spill over my lid. "You're here so Alexia can fulfill her mission, she will kill you, and she will kill Luke. You're not of any use to us, you were captured to be slaughtered like an animal." I felt my heart sink in my chest... Could this really be... Has she truly gone darkside?
Kya put her mask on, lifting her hood up and over her head. She turned on her heel and walked towards the exit. "One day" I choked out as she turned her head slightly over her shoulder "your excessive need for power will kill you" she chuckled and walked out of the door.
I let out a loud scream feeling so much frustration at once. There was no chance of escape, I was a lamb waiting for slaughter, and so was Luke. Alexia's transfer to the darkside... I couldn't believe it, but at the same time... I could see the darkness inside her growling the days before she left. All I could do now was wait, listening to the sound of my own heartbeat as I waited for execution.
