The Announcement Part 2

Emily

As we were watching Jake chase the kids around the beach and then drop them in the water we couldn't help but laugh. I knew Jake would make a great dad some day. As we were watch Jake play in the water with the girls I noticed something reflecting of the sun and look around if I could find what casing it when I noticed a ring on Kahlan's left had. I grabbed her hand in mine making sure that I wasn't seeing things and I wasn't there was a ring on her finger and not just any ring it was Sarah ring.

I smiled wide at her and congratulated her on her engagement and she blushed and said thank you. I then asked her when and she told me that it was was last night and how he had taken her out for a meal at on the restaurants in Port Angeles then went to see a movie and he drove them back here, but just as they crossed the border he had pulled over at the end of the road and leaned over to place a blind fold over her eyes and then continued to drive into La Push and stopped the car and then got out and then come round to help her out of the car and then led her down to the beach.

He then removed the blind fold and I saw the beach covered in candles in in the middle had spelt out the words saying Marry Me with them. I couldn't but match the smile she had on her face. I leaned over gave her a hug and then turned to Sam and told him the good news. He smiled at both of us and kissed me softly on the lips before getting up and lifting Kahlan up and swung her around making her squeal in shock as he did this and then set her back on her feet and brought her in for a hug and said welcome to the family. She blushed again and then sat back down next to me and I couldn't help but smile at the pair of them. Same then left us to join Jake and our girls in the water.

Sam

As I set Kahlan back on her feet I brought her into a hug and welcomed her to the family. I then walked down to water where why daughters and Jake where playing and joined them. I turned to Jake and congratulated him on his engagement and then told him it took you long enough and then started laughing. He smiled back at me and said I know, but I Just wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. I smiled and nodded in agreement as I remembered when I asked Emily to marry me and I kept worrying about if I was doing it at the right time and at the same time hoping that I wasn't moving this to quickly for her.

As It turns out I had worried over nothing and we have been happily married now for six years  and we have two beautiful daughters. I was brought out of my thoughts by both Jake my beautiful girls throwing water at me. I turned to Jake once more and asked him how he purposed to her. He smiled and then told me all about it and how he thought that she said no as she didn't say anything for twenty minutes after he removed the blind fold and then how she explained her reaction to what she had seen and apologised and give him her answer.  I just had to laughed at him. I mean anyone can tell how she loves him just by seeing them together.

We played in the water for a little while longer and then we all got out of the water and back to girls who where still talking and laughing. Both Jake and my self smiled at our woman and once we were close enough we lifted them both up and spun them around casing both them to squeal as they didn't see us coming. We both laughed at our imprints and put them back on their feet and kissed them softly.

Jacob

After softly kissing her on the lips I lifted her up once again and ran towards the water and I heard her screaming at me to put her down, I just smiled down at her and shook my head. She said it again only to get the same reaction from me again. She sighed and then notice that I was waist deep in the water and that I had my arms our stretched and ready to drop her in it. She looks at me with a stern look on her face and said Jacob Black don't you dare even think about it. The smile on my face grow bigger and then I dropped her in the water.
