You began to sob as tears rolled down your cheeks. It was just too much. You missed your parents so much.

You hadn't remembered that bit about what they had said to you. Just the thought of that started up another sob that racked your chest. You felt like you were a wall and that someone just obliterated the wall. You felt empty and soul-less inside, like there was nothing more to your very existence.

You put your knees up and put your head down.

You heard footsteps and your head shot up

You heard footsteps and your head shot up. Someone hadn't left the room.

Surprisingly, it was Bender.

"You okay?" He asked quietly.

You shook your head, your nose runny. You resumed your position, continuing to cry.

Bender took small steps towards you, then sat next to you. You kept your head down. You didn't want him to see you like this.

When he sat next to you, he waited patiently. You finally raised your head, your eyes red and your nose runny. You stared at him for a while.

He just looked at you softly, the corners of his optics curving in sadness. You weren't sure if he didn't know how to comfort you or if he was trying to help. You looked ahead of you, not wanting to meet his eyes.

After a little less than minute passed, you leaned your head on his shoulder.

Bender didn't move out of your way. He just sat there, not sure what to do next. You heard little sparks as his logic circuit was being over-ridden by his empathy chip.

Wordlessly and hesitantly, he wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer. He waited patiently until your sobs slowly subsided.

Bender metal body was cold, yet comforting. He stroked your hair a couple times too. It stopped your crying and whimpering.

Your eyes began to droop with all the crying you had done, and you drifted pleasantly into sleep.

Bender couldn't help but smile gently.
