Thanks to everyone who cheered me up last chapter. I appreciate it. Really. I got a new phone so it's been easier to write this because I can now use the Notes feature. I promise I'll update more. Or I'll try anyway.

"Wake up wake up wake up!" You heard a voice call out, waking you up. It was Bender.
"Ungh two more minutes," you groaned, even though you would've preferred two more MONTHS. You were so tired and you just wanted to sleep-

"Cmon!" It was Fry's voice this time.
You groaned again and pulled the pillow over your head, hoping to drown them out. You heard Bender sigh annoyedly. Then you felt the pillow being ripped from your hands. You were still laying on your stomach, your face buried in the mattress. Your head was then being hit by the pillow.
"ARGH OKAY I'M UP!" You growled, sitting up and opening your eyes.

"Wow, you have a tail?" Fry pointed towards your lower back.
"Yeah... It's complicated. How did you not see it last night?" You frowned, scratching your head and stretching.
"You had your back away from the group. I couldn't see it. I doubt anyone saw it, actually." Fry explained.
"Oh, right." You remembered. You finally stood up.
"So why again did you wake me up?" You rubbed your eyes.
"Because today we are going to the beach!" Bender answered.

Okay, a thing about beaches. Beaches meant sea (or other water mass). Sea meant water. Cats and water do not mix. Cats hate water - loathe it, actually. Which meant that not only did you hate being in water, but couldn't swim.
Another problem - you were in a brief period of time where your cat ears and tail were extended, and you couldn't do much about it. So it would be hard to hide.

Naturally, you kept these to yourself. You were sure that Leela would think of something.

"O-oh okay." You said. "Alright I'm gonna go to Planet Express to see if Leela or Amy have an extra swimsuit. Catch up with you guys later!" You slung on a coat and walked outside.

When you arrived, you marched straight up to Leela. "I need a bathing suit." You told her. "Apparently, we are going swimming."
"Yeah, I know. Fry and Bender called. By the way, sorry about last nigh-"
"It's fine, really. I was just kinda tired." You cut her off.
"That may be the case, but you were right. It wasn't fair to sneak up on you guys and make it seem like this scandalous embarrassing thing." Leela put a hand on your shoulder.
"Thanks." You smiled. That made you feel better.
"Anyway, about a swimsuit, you can probably fit into one of mine." Leela said, walking to her locker. She reached in and grabbed a bikini.

There's yet another thing.

"Do you have anything other than a bikini? I honestly feel like bikinis are rather demeaning clothes, and that they portray women into 'objects'. I don't want to give anyone that kind of satisfaction, especially boys who don't have anything better to do." You blurted. Then you held a hand over your mouth. "Sorry, I seem to be full of opinions toda-"
"Wow, I didn't know you felt that way." Leela put her hands on her hips. You chuckled nervously.
"I agree with you. And yes, I do have a one-suit." Leela pulled out a (F/C) (F/D) swimsuit that was one piece (like the ones professional swimmers wear).

"Thanks Leela." You smiled and you two hugged. Then you went in the bathroom and put it on. You looked at yourself in the mirror. You looked okay. You had never really worn one before, so the odd swim suit texture felt weird against your skin. Oh well, you would just have to get used to it. Then you put your clothes back on, on top of your swimsuit.

"Uh, I also don't have a towel. Or sunscreen." You walked back to Leela sheepishly. Leela rolled her eyes playfully. "The things I do for you." She shook her head.
You gave a thankful grin as she grabbed you a long beach towel and spray sunscreen.
"Here, use this. But let me use the sunscreen after you. I forgot to buy one this week." Leela handed you the stuff. You went back into the bathroom and sprayed your entire body, including your face. Your face looked a bit white (ME EVERY TIME I PUT ON SUNSCREEN) but you figured that that was normal. You walked back out and gave Leela her sunscreen back. She had already changed into her bikini.

Next, you went into the kitchen to prepare sandwiches. You figured that everyone was going, so it would be a good idea to bring snacks and such. In the end, you made tons of sandwiches, and you placed them all in the Planet Express ship. "Alright guys, let's go!" You said. Now it was your turn to get everyone moving.

Fry got in the ship first, followed by Bender. Then Leela walked in with Amy. Then the Professor (you hoped to God that he wasn't wearing a Speedo...) with Zoidberg and Hermes. You had been waiting in the ship for a while, and we're now more than ready to just go. Leela piloted the ship out and you were on your way.

You had talked to Leela about the tail thing (everyone had already commented about at various times that morning) and you two had come to a good compromise. You found that you could wrap your tail around your waist underneath the swimsuit, and you wouldn't be able to really see it. And your cat ears could be hidden by a swim cap. You knew Leela would sort it out.

"Alright, we are here." Leela announced as she landed the aircraft. The beach seemed nice. Nice clean beach, clear waters, and only a few naked older people. But that was normal.

Everyone piled out and found a place to settle. A few umbrellas were set up, and several beach chairs were unloaded. You sat on one and pulled off your clothes, revealing your swimsuit underneath while everyone else tore theirs off and jumped into the water. You were going to avoid the water at all costs, so you just sat on one of the beach chairs.

Fry and Bender were having a splash battle. Then Amy and Leela joined in. Zoidberg had already disappeared - probably went underwater already. The Professor, thank goodness, wasn't wearing a Speedo, and was floating in the water.

"(Y/N), c'mon in the water!" Fry turned to you.
"Heh-heh, um, I'm fine, thanks." You smiled nervously.
"It can't be that bad! The water isn't that cold!" Amy encouraged.

Cats. Don't. Like. Water. How hard was this to understand?!

What they didn't get was that one wrong move in the water, and you would, well...

Die.
