"Really?!" You and Bender said, synchronized.
"Wha? Oh, yes, I believe I have found a solution!" Farnsworth replied, after a little confusion.
"Yay, finally." You said and hi-fived Bender.
"So what do we have to do?" Bender inquired.
"Just sit in my newest invention, the Switchinator!" The Professor said, gesturing to a funky machine. There were two seats that were back to back, with a metal spiral in the middle. On the top was a glass ball, with two glass helmet things.
Needless to say, it looked dangerous. And not at all trustworthy. That's the Professor's inventions for ya!
"Hey wait. Isn't this just the machine you used to switch our minds?" Leela asked suspiciously.
"Oh my no. That one didn't completely fix their minds - that only switched them temporarily." The Professor clarified.
"Okay let's go already!" You said impatiently. You sat on your chair and Bender sat on the other side.
Bender was quivering, so you held his hand so he would shut up. You made sure that it was on the side of the machine that the people couldn't really see.
"Ready? Well too bad 'cuz I'm pressing the button!" Farnsworth yelled and grabbed a remote from his jacket.
You closed your eyes as the machine powered on. Electricity flowed through it and zapped your brain. It was kind of painful, but it was more scary, really.
You felt a tingling sensation, then it stopped rather suddenly. You opened your eyes and looked around. You were...
BACK IN YOUR OWN BODY!!
You did a mental fist pump.
Then you had a thought. In Bender's voice, you said: "Seriously? I'm still in this crummy body! C'mon Professor, try harder, dammit!" You said angrily at the Professor.
"But I...I followed all the steps for once!" The Professor looked down sadly at the floor.
"Wait, but how am I here and there? Woo-hoo, two Benders!" The real Bender said. He was back in his original body too.
"Oh no, not two Benders! It's hard enough dealing with one!" Hermes cried out.
You then laughed, your normal voice echoing throughout the room that had just been flung into chaos. Everyone looked at you. "I'm just kidding with y'all. I'm back in my normal body." You said casually, smiling.
The Professor turned on the giant television screen. "It says here that there is still one memory that is misplaced. I need to see if it is relevant enough for me to put through the machine. The junk that goes through your mind, I'll tell ya." The Professor prattled on, fiddling with his remote.
Then on the screen appeared...wait what?
Your parents?!
