Surprise

An unexpected pain took over my body. I yelled out in pain, scared and unaware of what was happening to me.

"Dougie!" By now nurses were examining me, I began to cry uncontrollably.

"Darcy, love your okay. I need you to push, I don't know if you have been told but your having twins."

Me and dougie looked at each other in shock. What no. I'm not having twins wait that's impossible. Why hadn't I been told on scans.

"Darcy push." The nurse' voice had become serious and less jolly, moreostir. And abrupt. I had no energy. I couldn't push.

"No.i cant, please don't make me do this." I was begging her but she looked angry.

"Darcy styles! You are having another beautiful little baby, how do you think your baby feels their trying to get out and your giving up. Do you know how pathetic you sound. Now push."

How dare she. Each word was cruel and spiteful. I bet she doesn't have kids. I pushed with all of my might to prove her wrong and with one push the second baby was out.

"You have a little boy!"

I looked Dow. I couldn't hear a cry. Not even a faint one like my baby girls. I looked down and he looked blue, why was he blue.

"I need some help please baby isn't breathing."

I looked up at dougie in desperation. He cuddled our little girl closer as tears formed in his eyes.

"No. Why isn't he breathing!" I screamed everyone ignored me as if he wasn't mine.

"Dougie help him please!"

"Babe they are doing there best it's okay shhhhh"

He rubbed circles in the small of my back.

I looked over praying but before I finished they rushed out of the room with him.

"Dougie! Where are they taking him! Please!"

"Mum, baby boy is a lot smaller this your little girl his lungs aren't functioning very well so they are taking him down to scubu to put him on some machines to help him breath okay?" I felt my heart stop, and shatter into millions of pieces.

Dougies arm wrapped around my shoulder squeezing me tight but it was still no comfort.
