My hand wrapped around his tiny body as my feet slowly edged forward to the front door.
"Welcome home. Alicia and Alfie."
I looked across the room to see dougie cradling our little girl, a large, proud grin plastered on his face.
"Yeah, welcome home." he repeated barely a whisper.
I sat down laying our baby boy in the carrycot next to his sister. I sat down next to dougie and cuddled into his chest.
"This is it. you know, this is the start of our lives."
I looked up into his beautiful eyes and saw his happiness the same level as mine.
"This is all we need."
